David M. Lewin

David M. Lewin is the founder of Lewin Law Group, a Chicago based firm with a national practice representing condominium associations, contractors, businesses, and their insurers. In addition to his work for Lewin Law Group, he is Of Counsel to Querrey & Harrow, Ltd., a 75 year old firm that allows him to assist his clients in a variety of other practice areas.

The primary focus of his practice is condominium law, where he works with associations ranging from six units to sixty floors on matters ranging from governing document review and amendment, contract negotiation, risk management, and assessment collection.

He handles complex commercial litigation for clients ranging from national satellite television providers to locally owned restaurants.  His long record of trial success allows him to provide sound litigation advice as to both the merits of the case and the costs involved in bringing home a verdict.

Finally, he  handles appeals, with success in the U.S. District Court (7th Circuit), and the Illinois Appellate Court in the 1st and 3rd Districts.

When not practicing law, he is very active in neighborhood issues. He is Vice President of the Streeterville Organization of Area Residents and also works for the Alderman Brendan Reilly's (42nd Ward) organization.
