DO NOT HIRE; my recommendation. My experience here leads me to believe this is a SCAM COMPANY. I hired Richard for a job for $3,000. After months of no response to multiple emails, Richard finally responds and informs me he cannot complete my job and would like to return my retainer of cash. Despite ...losing months of my life, I accept the offer, to which was a check made out to the wrong name with over $800 missing. Anyone can message me for proof in this regard.

After experiencing incompetencies of three firms, I finally found Mr. Rick Steck who kindly accepted my case. By ten it was at least a year into my case and I had gotten used to having my case consume every aspect of my daily life. I never forget what Rick told me as he took over my case. He told me ..."you have hired me to worry about your case. You should live your life and enjoy your little baby (she is 13.5 now) and not let this case ruin your life". And that is exactly what he did. He took care of the case and protected my personal and professional life from constant emotional turbulences of being in the middle of a lawsuit. His confidence and calm demeanor was contagious and soothing. When he brought the defendant to the point that they offered me a settlement and I was insisting on going to a trial, he sat me and talked like a father (he is much younger than being a father but it felt like my father was talking to me). He said "you can go to the trial and I would represent you with confidence but it would be a painful process, even if you win they can appeal, and it may take years. In the meantime your daughter's birthdays would come and go and this case would taint the memories of all of those. I understand that you want to have your day in court. But you need to think whether it is worth it or not. If you settle you would put an end to this chapter of your life and move on and there is no price for that". It was clear that he was not there for making money out of years of litigation. He was there for my best interest. And I took his genuine advice to heart and settled. And that was the best thing I could have done. Rick is an amazing lawyer. He is not only an experienced and knowledgeable attorney, he is one of the few who really really cares about his clients and does his job with dignity and having the best interest of his clients in his heart. If you are reading this, you may be in need of an attorney, and I am sorry for that. But if you do, you can't have anyone better than Rick on your side. I highly recommend Mr. Rick Steck with absolutely no reservation.
