Excellent advice and prompt replies

I reached out to Michael for advice in a real estate matter. I was under threat of being sued for $4,000 for breach of contract from the sale of my home. I was looking for advice and some sort of guidance (something my attorney at the time was not providing). Michael took a look at my contract and in...spection report from the sale of the house. He gave me advice on what to anticipate as an argument against me and what arguments I had against the buyer of the home. He described multiple scenarios for me and how the legal battle would most likely play out. He was intelligent, insightful, and prompt. Over the course of ONE day Mike boosted my confidence and my understanding of what was to proceed. Without Mike I would have been completely lost. The most amazing part was that he did all of this Pro Bono. Michael went above and beyond what I expected from him. He was far more valuable than the lawyer I had paid to initially represent me. I can not thank him enough.

Awesome guy! Straight and to the point too!

I could not believe that a former landlord attempted to coerce me into paying over $800 for alleged damage to my apartment that I was not responsible for. Mr Mike Martinez agreed to represent me pro bono and convinced the landlord to not only drop its claims against me, but to refund me a portion of ...my security deposit. After everything, I could not believe how professional Mr. Mike Martinez was with me and how he handled everything from start to finish! Thank you very much Mike!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
