My husband and I found had to quickly find an attorney after having another one fall asleep through a couple of hearings in court. We found Donna Rotunno, she was always on top of everything that was going on with our son's case. Being in Illinois was one thing, entangled up in their court system w...as another and we was fearful of it all, however this female, Italian, young fearless woman handled everything we needed with much passion and patience. She kept things moving.

I have worked with Donna and two other lawyers at her firm on several cases. They always made court dates and always honest about the good bad and the ugly. That gave me as a client , the opportunity to make the best decision in terms of not going to prison. Getting the best possible outcome ...and keeping my job. Other times based off of their knowledge of the law she went to trial with confidence resulting in a not guilty verdict. That 's all you can asked of attorney when you find yourself in bad situation. Not to take your $$$$ and tell you what you want to hear Based of the facts the law and your situation to tell you the truth so that your bad situation does not get worse. I have recommended friends and family they also have had great outcomes I pray that I never find myself on the wrong side of the law again but if I do I have her on speed dial

I suggest that this attorney provide bills showing what time she spends on the case. She said she subpeoned witnesses but they did not appear and she did not follow through. She did not submit evidence that would show a false report was indeed filed to the police. She was more than 30 minutes la...te to court on 2 occasions after telling me that she is never late to court. She did not subpeona a prime witness, she made court dates without asking me first if they were o.k. with me. She did not follow instructions I asked. Her advice is an opinion and if I disagree she should follow my instructions as I knew more about the case than she cared to investigate. She told me I lied about the amount of time someone was in the hospital but the information was in the first police report that was given to her.
