Damon Matthew Cheronis

I worked with Damon years ago when he was still a green horn working under Ralph Meczyk. I was falsely accused of a sex crime...he worked with my family and got me bailed out maybe 3 hours after my surprise arrest. I have to say that was the scariest thing I've ever gone through and Damon always mad...e me feel assured that it would work out in my favor, which it did. He's whip-smart and has an obvious affinity for the law. He's also a very likeable guy, doesn't come off arrogant etc.

I was indicted in 2020 of being a leader with a conspiracy and a money laundering charge with 9 other defendants. Being a first time offender not knowing anything about hiring the correct attorney, I came across a money hungry attorney that was just looking to take as much money as he could from me,... that at my bond hearing he compared my case with dogs playing poker. I was denied bond and was told by the judge I wasn’t getting out until the end of my incarceration. With that being said I had to change attorneys.
