Our loan officer recommended Michael to us when getting ready to purchase a condo in downtown Chicago. From my first conversation on the phone with him, I felt comfortable asking him questions as we navigated through the contract , then all the condo docs and finally the closing. He was always quick ...with his responses to email and kept us and our realtor informed all along the way. At closing he patiently explained each document we signed even though I'm sure he had done it hundreds of times before. We would use Michael again.

Michael Wasserman handled a private sale of a condominium apartment in the West Loop. He is by far the best real estate attorney I have ever used. He was incredibly responsive, a very clear communicator, an able advisor and managed the entire transaction and closing remotely and electronically. ...He also is generous in supporting community charities which is quite admirable.

Being an attorney, who doesn't specialize in real estate transactions, I asked my real estate agent to recommend an attorney to handle the closing on a condo I purchased in the Hancock building. He recommended Michael. I hired Michael to handle the transaction and he walked me through the paperwork... and the closing was uneventful, which is what I wanted. When I decided to sell a different unit in the Hancock, Michael was my first call to handle the transaction. He was excellent in informing me of what was needed, and dealing with the buyer’s attorney. Unlike many attorneys, he is excellent in communicating both what needs to be done, and current status. During his investigation on the title, he came across a mortgage from the previous owner that was not identified by my closing attorney, or addressed by seller’s attorney. He worked diligently to remove the mortgage from my title, and the closing went forward without a hitch. I wasn't able to attend the closing and he took care of the whole transaction including funds transfer. I highly recommend Michael Wasserman for all your real estate transactions. If/when I sell my current unit, I will once again give Michael a call. 

Michael provided me with legal counsel during the purchase of a condo in Chicago. He was extremely timely and responsive during the entire purchase process.
