Michael was recommended to me through my real estate agent. I purchased a condo in Chicago and live in California. Michael and his team provided excellent service and were there for each step along the way. They attended the closing for me so I did not have to fly back to Chicago. My wife and I worked with Michael for our first condo purchase, which we closed on April 2020, and we couldn't have had a better attorney for the process. As first-time homeowners, Michael's breadth of knowledge and experience was invaluable. He not only took the time to walk through any questions we... had, but he provided a lot of guidance on the requirements and to-dos that come with purchasing a home and was extremely prompt with any communication throughout the process. Additionally, we had the unfortunate luck to have our closing occur while in the midst of the shelter in place order due to COVID-19. Michael made sure to inform us of the safety recommendations for closing, gave us the different options to choose from, and worked with us to make sure that closing was a seamless and safe process for everyone involved. Attorney John Aylesworth was very professional and so supportive. He walked me through the whole process. I explained that I was a first time homebuyer and had a busy work schedule. He explained the whole process to me, and reminded me each step of the way of anything i’d forgotten. John took care of everything and I never had to worry about a thing. Both Aylesworth and Wasserman kept all forms/lines of communication open to me via email, phone, txt. They always responded to my emails promptly, my calls were always answered and I never once completed a conversation feeling confused or dissatisfied. I especially remember when the day prior to my closing my lender was having problems getting approval and John reached out to her and asked if there was anything he could do to make it happen. Everything got resolved and we closed on the scheduled date. I was particularly touched by that. Now bear in mind, Michael Kept reaching out to me the whole time to make sure I was happy with everything and if there was anything else I needed done or he could do for me. On the day prior to the closing , John told me what to expect, what to bring with me. On the day of the closing, I met with John for the first time. Mind you, because of my busy work schedule, everything prior to the closing was done via email and phone and he awarded me the same professional courtesy and was totally at ease. I was told to expect to be there for 60-90 mins however, everything was completed in 40 mins. FANTASTIC!! A week after my closing Michael reached out to me to ask if there was anything I needed. Two weeks later I got another follow up email from Michael showing support and reassurance even though we’ve never met. Clearly These gentlemen take pride in what they do. Good work ethics is evidently one of their priorities and how a customer views them is very important to them.
