Biography
A licensed attorney since 2005, I have been representing clients in Divorce and Family Law for over 10 years. The Law Office of Jeffrey R. Esser was founded in 2011 to provide clients with personalized solutions for their legal issues.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Classics from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, I earned a law degree from the University of Southern California. I am licensed to practice law in Illinois and concentrate my practice on contested and uncontested divorce, child support services, wills and trusts, and prenuptial agreements.
Because I believe everyone should have access to a competent attorney, I take on pro-bono cases through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, and have earned CVLS’s Distinguished Service Award in 2010 and 2012.

Excellent experience !
Excellent experience. My divorce was unusual case of desertion but Jeffrey Esser handled it very well. He is very knowledgeable and precisely knows how to extract useful information out of details. He made my case precise and straightforward and divorce process went smoothly.
