excellent, dependable, professional, aggressively knowledgeable

I was involved in a fairly serious domestic battery charge. He was highly recommended by a family member, who he provided was able to drop his charges. Mr Garfinkel was patient and understanding of the law well. I was at risk of losing my professional license and possibly my job. Hal spend valuable ...time working off hours with the state's attorney and legal department representing my professional license and was able to bring down the charges to a petty charge of disorderly conduct and keep my license. I cannot thank him enough for a excellent job well done. He is highly recommended to represent you at the best that can be done. thanks Hal !!!

Results are what matter

I was involved and charged in a fairly serious driving incident. Not knowing where to start regarding an attorney, I searched and found the reviews here and decided to hire Hal. For specific reasons, he advised me to take the matter to trial. Going into the courtroom, I was all but resigned to a guil...ty verdict. While arguing my case, however, Hal seized on crucial information from the prosecution's line of questioning that he used successfully to turn the case in my favor. The result - a verdict of NOT GUILTY! Needless to say I am very thankful to Hal and would recommend him to anyone needing a lawyer that achieves favorable results.

Harold is a blessing

I'd like to say this man is very professional and promising for the time I needed him. I was doing 101 mph in a 55 mph zone and pulled over by a State Trooper. Thankfully, I found Harold and he began fighting for me. Today I can be the person I am today because the final decision I had was given as f...ollows: Supervised 12 month Drivers License, and a fine. I am so grateful for someone who can work wonders like this man. A Class A Misdemeanor to a Petty Offense, if you need anything, this man is the one you should be having to fight for you!

Experienced and super professional! Excellent! Fantastic counsel!

I needed to hire an attorney to defend my minor son who received 3 citations at once while driving on the Tri-state. Speeding 101 mph in 55 mph zone, improper lane change and following too closely. Speeding charge by itself was serious enough to leave a life long smear in driving and other personal... records whatever they may be. So, I new that I needed the best attorney I could find in order to beat it. After reading some very positive reviews on avvo and talking in person i decided to hire Mr. Garfinkel. Not for a moment were we disappointed with our choice. With NO scare tactics to prepare us for defeat, Mr. Garfinkel calmly set the goals, outlined the defense strategy, explained the process and maintained an effective line of communication throughout. He did exactly what he said he would. Speeding charge was reduced to 80 mph petty offence, the other two tickets were thrown out. I was really impressed with his level of professionalism and how he handled my son's defense. I truly felt calm and confident with Mr. Garfinkel as out attorney. Hopefully I will not need attorney services in the near future, but in case I do, I know who to call! I will sure recommend Mr. Garfinkel to all of my friends. Undoubtedly, nothing but the great experience to report from out interaction with Mr. Garfinkel.

Mr hal is one of the best attorneys i ever had i was faceing jail time for driveing on a suspended and revolked for the fourth time.once again!fourthtime!!!and hal got me off doing jail time and a fair price.as soon as hal smiled at me after the conference with the judge and the states attorney.boom ...baby !i knew he got me off..this guy is the man.no joke Highly recommended..
