The Impact of a Contentious Lawyer in Divorce Proceedings

I would not recommend Gordon Nelson as a divorce lawyer. I saw how his approach often escalated tension rather than helping to resolve the issues at hand. He seemed to encourage a more contentious path, at times even using sarcasm and manipulative tactics. There was a lack of balance in his approach,... and I felt that his actions inadvertently contributed to the alienation of a parent, which is especially concerning for the well-being of children involved in divorce proceedings. If you're seeking a lawyer who will help navigate the complexities of a divorce in a fair and ethical manner, I would suggest looking elsewhere. It's important to have someone who understands the emotional and legal nuances of divorce, particularly when children are involved, and I did not see Mr. Nelson meet those expectations.

Gordon was great!

I had a 100% positive experience working with Gordon as my divorce attorney. Gordon is respected in the law community and was able to help me navigate a divorce and legal proceedings with minimal stress, cost, and disruption to my life. Gordon is a great combination of assertive, knowledgeable, res...ponsive and accessible. For the services he provides he offers a great value as well. He did a fantastic job representing me throughout the entire time he worked on my case- I would highly recommend Gordon Nelson to anyone in need of a family law attorney.

smooth talker

Smooth talker over the phone but he didn't show much enthusiasm in the court room. He was more concerned with keeping a good rapport with the judge and opposing attorney than defending me. Was late for several court dates which ended up costing me since I also had to pay child attorney fees. There we...re also a couple of occasions that he didn't file the correct paperwork. He also rescheduled several court dates and charged me court time to just sit around for hours waiting to reschedule. After about a year of no progress in my case, mostly due to rescheduling, I got tired of getting nickeled and dimed and fired him.

Great help and Professional

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the staff at Taradash & associates. I was a little hesitant at first.....to proceed with an online divorce. Not truly believing in the convenience and price of it all. To my surprise the firm delivered above my expectations. Everything outlined on t...heir website was followed without flaw. If I had questions...they were answered professionally and timely. The entire process was quick. When my lawyer (Gordon Nelson) met with me in court...I was assured it would be quick. We were in court less than 5 minutes! Great firm! I highly recommend them!
