I would not recommend this attorney based on my experience. Throughout my divorce and post-divorce legal matters, I often felt that I was being nickel-and-dimed while not receiving the level of guidance and attention I expected from an attorney. My biggest concern was the lack of careful review... of the language in my judgment and agreements. When I specifically reached out to make sure I was following the judgment correctly before taking an important financial step, I relied on the advice I was given. I was ultimately advised incorrectly, and that mistake ended up costing me more than $10,000. What is particularly disappointing is that I had already expressed concerns about whether certain language in documents accurately reflected the agreement. During a later post-divorce matter, concerns were also raised about inaccuracies in some of the information being included in the documents. When I brought my concerns to my attorney, I did not feel that they were taken seriously or adequately addressed. I understand that attorneys cannot guarantee the outcome of a case, and I am not leaving this review simply because I did not get the result I wanted in court. My disappointment is with the legal guidance I received leading up to that result and the fact that I relied on that advice when making decisions with significant financial consequences. I paid thousands of dollars for legal representation and expected careful attention to the actual language of my agreements, accurate guidance, and communication when I had questions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Gordon was my attorney through an arduous 3 year divorce and post decree battle with my ex-husband. Gordon is fair, honest, and prompt and although being very straightforward, has a way about him that comforts his clients during an exceedingly difficult time.

Smooth talker over the phone but he didn't show much enthusiasm in the court room. He was more concerned with keeping a good rapport with the judge and opposing attorney than defending me. Was late for several court dates which ended up costing me since I also had to pay child attorney fees. There we...re also a couple of occasions that he didn't file the correct paperwork. He also rescheduled several court dates and charged me court time to just sit around for hours waiting to reschedule. After about a year of no progress in my case, mostly due to rescheduling, I got tired of getting nickeled and dimed and fired him.
