I hired Amy to write a prenup. She came highly recommended by a friend. Overall, the experience was great and I would definitely hire her again. Her billing was very fair, and she sent an invoice in a timely manner once a month as outlined in her retainer agreement. She clearly explained to me all of... the potential issues that may arise during marriage, how to deal with and protect marital vs. non-marital property, and alimony. I was clueless at the start of all of this, so it helped me a great deal. She understood very quickly what I wanted covered in the prenup document and included everything exactly as i asked her. I was very happy about this; She got it correct the first time, and there was basically no time spent on revisions (which also reduced cost). She was very responsive vial email or phone, and if she could not reply immediately, she explained why (eg tied up in court, etc) and told me a time she could get back to me. She is unbiased, straight and to the point, and doesn't waste time. My feeling is that she genuinely wanted to help, and I never got the feeling that she was trying to prolong the proceedings to get more money. Everything was very fair. It can be difficult to find a good and honest lawyer but Amy is definitely one of these rare ones. Highly recommend.

Amy knows the law, which means she knows what is effective and what is not. Family law is highly emotional and Amy knows how to break it down to "just the facts" which helps her clients in knowing which issues to pursue and which issues may be emotionally difficult, but not important in family court ...or the outcome you're pursing. Amy is also extremely efficient. She devotes time to the activities that will produce the highest impact for her clients. Most importantly, she is strong. She uses the law to position the strongest argument on behalf of her client. She will also be 100% authentic in letting you know the likely outcomes of your personal position. I suggest listening to every ounce of advice she gives. As my attorney, she drafted an agreement that was rejected by the opposition. We went through trial and ended up with almost the exact agreement she suggested. Listen to Amy's instincts. She knows her stuff and truly wants to minimize any undue anguish from the realities of family court.
