Michael James Levy

I am very glad I had Michael as my lawyer for my divorce, and I highly recommend him. I was fortunate in that my ex-wife and I did not have a contentious divorce, thou I have no doubt Michael could have handled that. Instead, what struck me most about Michael was how well he listened and worked WIT...H me as well as FOR me. My ex and I had hired a mediator, we thought, to do some of the basic grunt work and save ourselves some time and money, and I was going to use Michael just to review the mediators work. Instead, it became abundantly clear to me that the mediator was not working and when Michael offered to complete the paperwork it ended up being faster, less expensive, and I'm sure just better than the mediator would have done. Additionally, throughout the process Michael suggested things to me about the dissolution of the marriage or our child care plan, and sometimes I asked him to incorporate those things, and sometimes i asked him not to. Whenever that was the case he would explain why he suggested it, and when I'd explain why I didn't think it would applicable to my situation he understood. Overall he was very easy to work with, was very throughout, and always returned my calls or emails promptly. On the day of my divorce, he was with me in court and prepped me in advance for what would happen, and it went very smoothly. If any of my friends ever happen to need a divorce attorney, I would highly recommend Michael.

Michael Levy was the best divorce lawyer that I hired, period. He listened attentively and genuinely to my needs and goals navigating through the court system, but more importantly my child custody. He took care of everything for me and I'm truly grateful! His level headed way of thinking, the unders...tanding of my situation and how he handled my case helped tremendously in getting through the divorce process. Michael was an amazing attorney in every aspect of my high conflict divorce. After a 2 year fight in the court system and 2 previous attorneys, he got me a parenting agreement signed within 2 weeks of signing him on and got me officially divorced within 2.5 months of him being hired. From the start... my focus was on my children and he went above and beyond to make sure that my children were taken care of and I got what I wanted. During that time, I felt that I had him not only as an attorney, but I felt he became a friend and I could talk to him about everything and anything without any hesitation or judgement. I was involved in an extremely messy high conflict divorce that became somewhat public. It was horrible. My attorney at the time was no match for what I was up against, I was referred to Michael. From the start Micheal immediately got into court and took this case as if it was his only case. I cannot... thank him enough for being very knowledgeable, responsive, organized, dedicated and calm. While trying keeping me calm which is no easy task when your ex had money, powerful connections, and was trying to take your children. Michael and I were in contact every single day for 2 years, I emailed him daily he never did not get back to me and it is almost bitter sweet.. My divorce was final on Tuesday, I got full decision making for my sons, and custody. I got the only things that mattered, my kids and a chance at a happy life. Ending up in the family courts system is a terrible place to be, believe me you need an attorney like Michael.
