I am very glad I had Michael as my lawyer for my divorce, and I highly recommend him. I was fortunate in that my ex-wife and I did not have a contentious divorce, thou I have no doubt Michael could have handled that. Instead, what struck me most about Michael was how well he listened and worked WIT...H me as well as FOR me. My ex and I had hired a mediator, we thought, to do some of the basic grunt work and save ourselves some time and money, and I was going to use Michael just to review the mediators work. Instead, it became abundantly clear to me that the mediator was not working and when Michael offered to complete the paperwork it ended up being faster, less expensive, and I'm sure just better than the mediator would have done. Additionally, throughout the process Michael suggested things to me about the dissolution of the marriage or our child care plan, and sometimes I asked him to incorporate those things, and sometimes i asked him not to. Whenever that was the case he would explain why he suggested it, and when I'd explain why I didn't think it would applicable to my situation he understood. Overall he was very easy to work with, was very throughout, and always returned my calls or emails promptly. On the day of my divorce, he was with me in court and prepped me in advance for what would happen, and it went very smoothly. If any of my friends ever happen to need a divorce attorney, I would highly recommend Michael.
