Michael Levy was the best divorce lawyer that I hired, period. He listened attentively and genuinely to my needs and goals navigating through the court system, but more importantly my child custody. He took care of everything for me and I'm truly grateful! His level headed way of thinking, the unders...tanding of my situation and how he handled my case helped tremendously in getting through the divorce process. He answered every single email and every single phone call from myself and the opposing attorney with a promptness of a skilled veteran lawyer and truly made me feel like I was his only client. In this review I'm supposed to talk about his failures and his failures were NONE! The only failure was my own for not hiring him first. Do not make the same mistake! I would recommend Michael Levy to anyone going through the divorce process or anyone who needs a consultation about divorce. Michael was amazing. My divorce should not have been a complicated one but as most do, it became a hassle. He was always there for me when there were issues, understood my frustrations and did his best to calm me down when my emotions got the best of me. Michael was an amazing attorney in every aspect of my high conflict divorce. After a 2 year fight in the court system and 2 previous attorneys, he got me a parenting agreement signed within 2 weeks of signing him on and got me officially divorced within 2.5 months of him being hired. From the start... my focus was on my children and he went above and beyond to make sure that my children were taken care of and I got what I wanted. I was involved in an extremely messy high conflict divorce that became somewhat public. It was horrible. My attorney at the time was no match for what I was up against, I was referred to Michael. From the start Micheal immediately got into court and took this case as if it was his only case. I cannot... thank him enough for being very knowledgeable, responsive, organized, dedicated and calm. He had a perspective and a context that constantly reassured me, decreased my enormous anxiety while dealing with GAL's, psych evaluations, DCFS, etc. Like I said, extremely high conflict.. Michael and I were in contact every single day for 2 years, I emailed him daily he never did not get back to me and it is almost bitter sweet.. My divorce was final on Tuesday, I got full decision making for my sons, and custody. I got the only things that mattered, my kids and a chance at a happy life. Ending up in the family courts system is a terrible place to be, believe me you need an attorney like Michael. I have personally sent 2 friends in similar positions to him, and he did what their previous attorneys couldn't. Michael will be one of the top divorce/family law attorneys very soon, that I know.
