Matthew Clifford Arnoux

First attorney did nothing for me. He told me give up thinking I'll ever gain custody. I fired him and found Matthew. Within a week I had temporary custody and ultimately custody. Matthew was tremendous during the entire process. I've recommended him several times and all those who took my advice lat...er thanked me. Each and everyone was beyond happy with Matthew.

Any cursory search of Matt on the internet will show that he is more concerned with attending social galas and generally being a big shot than representing the children he is supposed to be protecting at this advanced stage of his life/career. His only purpose at this point is to use his ties with t...he Court to secure fees for his firm. Any humility or professionalism that he may have brought to the table while at Jeffery Leving has left town a long time ago. Don't get involved with this guy.

Matt seems like a good guy but doesn’t seem qualified to represent children which encompasses much of his practice in his role as a court appointed lawyer in contentious divorces. Every family case has their own set of unique circumstances but Matt seems to apply recommendations based on a one size ...fits all view of the law. I don’t know if he has his own kids but you would hope someone in his position would have empathy of the needs of the children he represents based on his own personal experience. I know 60 is probably the new 40; but, do yourself a favor and find a 40 year old who gives a crap about you.

Matt is simply the best lawyer. He masterfully navigated through all the issues I had to deal with while going through a contentious divorce and he did it with utmost professionalism and integrity, while winning every step along the way. Always available and accessible, extremely diligent in his ap...proach, always prepared and very confident in his abilities. I could tell that Matt was highly respected in the court system and he just knew how to get the job done in the most efficient way! If you're looking for a great lawyer, i highly recommend Matt.

While social media and other factor continue to modernize the legal business, the “old boy network” is still prevalent. Unfortunately, Mr. Arnoux reflects the worst of this old-fashioned model. While the balance of wisdom based on experience vs. having a sharp and progressive focus must always be wei...ghed in the search for professionals, I fear Mr. Arnoux has slipped too far towards the latter. He failed to bring the energy, passion and attention to my case – predominately passing the case off to an extremely green junior associate. Most distressing: when the going got tough, Mr. Arnoux became belligerent and unsupportive. He certainly didn’t feel like an ally for me. You can certainly hire Mr. Arnoux for his tremendous past accomplishments, but be wary: those past successes may not be reflective of the same counsel you get today.
