You're Not Getting the 1995 Matt Arnoux

Any cursory search of Matt on the internet will show that he is more concerned with attending social galas and generally being a big shot than representing the children he is supposed to be protecting at this advanced stage of his life/career. His only purpose at this point is to use his ties with t...he Court to secure fees for his firm. Any humility or professionalism that he may have brought to the table while at Jeffery Leving has left town a long time ago. Don't get involved with this guy.

Phoning It In

Matt seems like a good guy but doesn’t seem qualified to represent children which encompasses much of his practice in his role as a court appointed lawyer in contentious divorces. Every family case has their own set of unique circumstances but Matt seems to apply recommendations based on a one size ...fits all view of the law. I don’t know if he has his own kids but you would hope someone in his position would have empathy of the needs of the children he represents based on his own personal experience. I know 60 is probably the new 40; but, do yourself a favor and find a 40 year old who gives a crap about you.

During a losing custody battle in DuPage County involving the dreaded ant-father Brenda Carroll from the DuPage Legal Aid Office and my Ex's local attorney I went to Jeffery Levings office and met with Mr. Arnoux. That's when I was properly represented and got residential custody of what are now 2 r...eally great young men. I had attorneys before Matt that took my money and did almost nothing. I know the difference! If you want results call Matt Arnoux. Worst time of my life became the best because of Mr. Arnoux. I should have Avvo rated him long ago but I was raising the boys he protected!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
