Objective, compassionate, and no non-sense attorney who is fair.

I have never written a review about an attorney and can honestly say that I never expected to write one. From the beginning, Erin has been objective, balanced, and very focused on our son and making sure his best interests were being met. She listened and looked past the masks, to detect insince...rity, risks, and inconsistencies quickly. She was very thorough with her investigation which supported her findings. She is a very solid Attorney who can hold her own and does not play favorites. Nothing ever drew her attention away from her client and that was the only person she cared about. In the end, Erin was very fair and our son is now thriving. I highly recommend her. She is truly gifted and an asset to anyone going through a high conflict divorce and wants to make sure the children are put first. Thank you so much for everything, Erin. I hope to never have to work with you again but if the need ever arises, you are my first choice. I will refer everyone in need of your services to you. With every good wish …

Navigating High-Conflict Divorce with Kids

Working with Nicole Spicer at this firm, I was able to get through a high-conflict divorce within less than six months from start to finish. Nicole was a pro at helping me deal with tricky situations with my ex-spouse including: sexual harassment from him, his quitting one job-getting it back-then... job hopping again, protecting my special needs child with visitation concerns, parenting time conflicts, and negotiating child support. Plus, there was a very time-sensitive issue with a home refinance, and she negotiated on my behalf to ensure I was able to get a fair financial settlement and keep my business. Very impressed. There is no way I would have been able to get through this process by myself. I needed an attorney who was adept at dealing with high-conflict personalities, and she knew all the games my ex and opposing counsel were playing. Plus, she knew how to handle OC when they were completely unresponsive to emails or calls, and she got me across the finish line. Highly recommend Nicole Spicer!

Emily is fantastic - highly recommend Erin's firm

I will preface this review by saying I have never worked with a family attorney before and likely avoided it longer than I should have because the process felt daunting and I didn't want to "rock the boat" with my daughter's father more than necessary. I reached out to Erin's firm for a consult when... I was seeking representation and her firm came recommended by a highly regarded figure in the legal profession. Erin and Emily put me at ease during my initial consult and helped explain the next steps they would take immediately to work on my allocation judgment. When Erin first explained why they wanted to draft the AJ because theirs were comprehensive, I didn't quite understand how it would be different than any other family attorney. After my experience over the past year in both AJ and financial support petitions along with seeing how the opposing counsel and other attorneys operate, I can tell you that you want Erin's firm to work for you. They leave no stone unturned and are so much more thorough than any other attorney I have witnessed in this process, really putting others to shame. Emily was my main attorney on my case and I truly cannot thank her enough for her expertise and guidance throughout this past year. She is incredibly responsive, thorough, knowledgeable and patient, while being firm when she needs to with the OC. I am grateful that I had her to advocate for myself and my daughter while pushing the case along as much as she could during a stressful time for me. While it took longer than we would have liked to resolve (due solely to the opposing side's delay in responding and other issues), she was able to help us reach a settlement on both big issues outside of court that was both fair and the right thing to do for my daughter. I am pleased with our case resolution and again, cannot thank her enough. I hope that I don't need a family attorney again anytime soon, but if/when I do - I will be coming back to Emily and Erin and you should too.

Grateful for Nicole Spicer

Hiring Nicole Spicer to represent me in my divorce was the best thing I could have done. She guided me through the process and was always available to me via phone, text or email. My ex-husband made the divorce much more difficult than it should have been and Nicole was amazing. I’m so thankful I fou...nd her!

Where to even start

Erin spends all her time trying to burn through her retainer fees with email arguments, abusive orders and generally ignoring her responsibility to the children put in her care. She has no interest in your family or resolving your issues. Stay away from her if you value the safety or your childre...n.
