Daniel Conidi is a nationally recognized litigator and the founding Managing Partner of Alliant Law Group, LLC, headquartered in River Forest, Illinois. His practice is built on a rare, dual-sector foundation — 26 years of service as a Senior Special Agent Criminal Investigator with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Justice, followed by nearly 14 years of elite private practice. He has seen the federal system from both sides — as an agent who built cases and as an attorney who dismantles them. That perspective is not just background. It is the foundation of how he practices law and the reason his clients win.
Since founding Alliant Law Group in 2012, Mr. Conidi has built a thriving solo practice serving a broad and diverse clientele across immigration law, federal criminal defense, and federal appellate litigation. He represents individual and corporate clients in all 50 states and in dozens of countries around the world. As a former federal agent who worked every aspect of the immigration mission — criminal and administrative — for over two decades, he watched firsthand as individuals and families caught in the federal system desperately needed competent, compassionate advocates who understood how the government thinks, investigates, and prosecutes. That gap is precisely what he built his practice to fill.
Mr. Conidi is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the D.C. Circuit, the Federal Circuit, and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, as well as the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and multiple federal district courts across Illinois and Indiana. Few attorneys in Illinois practice at this level of federal court access.
As a tenacious trial lawyer, Mr. Conidi is known for pursuing the most favorable outcomes possible through meticulous, detail-oriented strategy.
