Vicky Kelly is a friendly lawyer, however the lack of experience started unraveling slowly when she missed court dates or sent her colleagues to attend the court date stating schedule conflicts. Why take on more clients when you are too busy to attend court hearings? Continuances were filed due to pa...perwork issues or lack of follow-up from the lawyers. Plus we had to proofread all the petitions and Pre-trial documents each time and coach her on how to proceed. I will give her a 5 star on being friendly, but 1 star on legal expertise. In addition, the invoice amount kept racking up and the billing was exorbitant considering her communication was lackluster on most legal questions. Surprisingly, we got better legal advice online on sites such as avvo.com and notified Vicki of those options provided to us. Lawyers need to realize that cases involve human beings and emotions. Its not just billing and court appearances and empty assurances to clients. Vicki is good for simple cases and simple petitions if you have the time and money. I met other lawyers within the firm and they seem friendly albeit a bit clueless when they had to suddenly represent our case in Vicki's absence. I changed lawyers last year, and found other legal options to pursue enabling me to get a better outcome for my case. Good luck and all the best if you pursue and hire attorney Vicki Kelly. However, I am hoping that this review helps others avoid a similar experience as me.

I just want to say a HUGE thank-you for taking on my 3 1/2yr. battle, picking up the pieces from what the other 3 neglected to follow -thru on. Vickie you truly worked on behalf with the best possible out come, and lastly working in a timely manner to end this night-mare :). Unfortunately for me you... were attorney #4, only to realize what I had lost out on and time wasted. You were quickly able to gain my trust thru your honesty, emotional support, responsiveness to questions and follow-thru on the issues. The professionalism of the office staff (Renee, Stephanie & Laura) and responsiveness with communication is impeccable. I know you guys are going to be on my speed dial for years to come and it’s very reassuring to know I can pick up the phone or send an email and know that support and/or answers will be there!!!! You provided emotional support (and kept me in check :) ) which sometimes is half the battle. I would recommend you guys to ANYONE having to venture down this ugly path. Vicki Kelly takes great pride in her career! It showed when it came to dealing with my case. She was exceptional at handling the sensitive matters of my child custody. She listens to all of your concerns in addressing each of them and letting you know when it's a major to minor point. She will alwa...ys have your best interest at heart. She is very open and honest. My case was drawn out for almost a year; it kept getting pushed back due to other reasons. Vicki felt my frustration and started making demands. She never let up on the GAL assigned to my case and got a pretrial set. When my ex wife made false accusations against me, Vicki addressed them immediately. Her pretrial memos were flawless, she is well organized. She is quick to respond through email. Only one court date she could not attend due to another court appearance; she sent Hilary Sefton in her place. Met Hilary for only an hour but felt I knew her just as long as Vicki. She too was on her A game! My ex wife and I were in a conflict when it came to visitation. We had 50/50 custody for the last 6 years and I wanted it revised in our JPA. Standing our ground and Vicki having full knowledge of the law and the facts of my case I WON!!!! I have been through a lot of personal struggles and this was something that I really needed. I love my children very much and Vicki knew that! There is a reason why she was awarded 2015-2016 Pro Bono Service Award. She thinks with her heart and head!!! I will forever be indebted to her. I hired this firm when I had filled for divorce in 2009 and their performance was absolute then and they still continue to give you all they can. They work with you when it comes to making payments.
