About me

I am a graduate of DePaul University College of Law.  I have legal experience in family law, criminal law, commercial litigation, real estate transactions, and estate planning.  Since joining Sullivan Taylor & Gumina, P.C., I have practiced exclusively in the area of family law.  Prior to graduating from law school, I gained valuable trial experience prosecuting cases as a Supreme Court Rule 711 law clerk with the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.  In 2015, I was named an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers, which is a distinction earned by fewer than two percent of all attorneys licensed to practice law in Illinois.

When I am not practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, and playing basketball.  I was born and raised in the Chicago area, where I currently reside with my wife and two children.

Mike is an attorney that treats his clients like they are people. He does not treat his clients as if they are walking wallets. His legal experience has grown greatly over the many years I have known him, and I highly recommend him to anybody who needs help with their family law problems.
