I was put in the position of finding my sibling a lawyer when she was incarcerated. I did some research and called around to different offices. When I spoke with Kevin I knew he would be the one I wanted to represent my sister (gut feeling) moment. He was the most thorough lawyer I have ever worked w...ith. He was always able to visit with my sister the day after we spoke on the phone. From there we communicated through email and phone calls. I was always aware of court dates and what step we were in this process. This already being a stressful experience you need that even if it’s a simple reminder or a items list for things she can bring to rehab. I felt very much a part of the communication as did my sister. Upon meeting him he is a very kind person who is very patient and knows his work very well. Kevin has been on many sides of this process from being a part of the state’s attorney in different counties to being a public defender. He also has knowledge from being a part of the Narcotics Prosecution Unit. With his help my sibling was able to go to rehab and completed intensive outpatient and given a second chance at life. I as my family will be forever grateful for helping us get my sister back and being able to enjoy her and make positive memories together. Thank you.
