I used James for my recent Chicago condo purchase, which he made an extremely smooth and painless process. James answered all of my questions and always responded to my emails very quickly (even late at night and over weekends). Whenever I had a question, concern, or problem, James always made time t...o talk to me that day (usually within a few hours of my initial email to them). Even more fantastic was that James, the founding partner, is the one who took my calls and returned my emails, as opposed to being passed off to a lower level associate. Being incredibly familiar with the intricacies and complexities of Chicago condo purchases, James also made sure that the overall purchase process was proceeding as scheduled. James' experience and expertise were especially demonstrated during the closing at the title office, where he spotted that the PIN number on the property was written incorrectly on some of the closing documents. Thank goodness for his attention to detail because that could have been a huge problem down the road. James sat with me through the entire closing and explained the entire closing process. He even keeps the closing documents for 7 years at his office in the event that I lose mine - now that's a great client experience! I highly recommended James to a number of my colleagues and they all enjoyed working with him as well. James emailed me to thank me for each of the people that I referred to him. I can't recommend James (and his staff) enough. They are incredibly professional, experienced, and responsive.

James helped me close on a property we were purchasing. There were a lot of negotiations back and forth with the other party that James handled swimmingly! He always made sure that we were informed of all the details and completely understood everything that was taking place. Through his help, we wer...e able to negotiate everything we wanted with the sellers and closed happily and in a timely fashion. I couldn't have had a better experience with him as our attorney!

I accepted a job offer that relocated me during a 12 month apartment lease. When I accepted the job, 4 months into my lease. My landlord told me that I was liable for the rest of the lease. I partnered with Jimmy and he helped me find a resolution for my situation as well as drafting the necessary co...ntracts to limit the liability I had. He was great to work with.

James did a great job in alleviating the stress that our former tenants continually caused us. He helped out in settling payment for tenants who refused to pay the last month's rent, removed appliances and played games with trying to get out of responsibilities that they agreed to in our contract. ...James did a great job with letting me know my rights as a landlord and what the best route to go down was to make sure that I was within my boundaries. He also took over all communications with the tenants as it was obvious that tension had escalated. He was very fair in his pricing and helped with creating a new Lease Agreement to help stop these issues from happening in the future. Couldn't be happier with the result and am extremely happy with our new tenants from the advice James gave us on going forward with renting out our unit.
