I want to take the time to applaud Jason Shore's work. Prior to finding Jason through a referral, I had completed my free initial consultations with two other attorneys. Both told me not expect much because our marriage was so short, which meant in a divorce with a minor, I should only expect child s...upport and I should get ready to move. This concerned me because my husband had walked out on us and left me postpartum with a newborn. After sitting down with my mom as Jason to explain the situation, Jason looked at us, smiled, and said we can do many things with this case. It made me feel at ease because it sounded positive for once. He also assured me that my son would be top priority and then me. Every decision included me and was the best outcome for my son and I. I am officially divorced and received more than any other attorney had said. Jason paid close attention to every detail and truly had mine and my sons best immediate and future at heart! I can’t express enough in words how great of an attorney Jason was and is. The outcome of his cases says it all. I have already referred 3 friends to him because I wouldn’t trust anyone else to represent me!

Where should I begin? It will be difficult to put in words how much of an impact Jason has made on me and my 4 year-old son’s life, but I will certainly do my best to express that here. Jason was the third family law attorney from whom I sought help for post-decree/divorce representation for a ...complex case, and not even 6 months after the divorce had been finalized and after I’d been told I couldn’t do anything by the other attorneys until more time had passed. Meanwhile, my son was being left with a variety of random caregivers regularly during his father’s parenting time and expressing to me some had physically hurt him. So, needless to say, I was slightly skeptical and guarded when Jason and I met. Jason was attentive and considerate of that from day one, however, and provided support not only through his knowledge of the law, but also his actions. I’d initially sought Jason’s help to add the Right of First Refusal to the parenting plan already in place and to advise me on how to approach mediation, which was scheduled a few weeks out. Almost immediately after Jason and I had agreed on working together for this purpose, however, my ex-husband falsely accused me of contempt/violating the parenting plan on several counts, which Jason bent over backwards to get dismissed immediately. This was the beginning to 4 months of very stressful events created by my ex-husband, but Jason was there every step of the way; helping me understand the law, answering the many (and am sure annoying at times) questions I had, being straightforward with me and giving me different options that were the most suitable for my situation and overall just being a great support. I never felt like “a case” or a dollar sign… With all that said, I am delighted to announce that last Friday, after all the sweat and tears, the Judge granted me the Right of First Refusal and ordered my ex-husband to pay the court fees for all the work (or magic ;) Jason had to put forth to bring the contempt accusations to rest. My son is now safer and has a better chance at having structure and stability again, components parents know are so vital during these formative years. I will end with this…Jason treated me with respect, courtesy, consideration and was sympathetic to my situation and throughout kept my son’s best interests in mind, which helped make a very unfortunate situation manageable. Jason is one of a kind and I’m confident anyone that has him on his/her side will recognize and benefit from that greatly. I highly recommend him for related matters.

Jason Shore represented me in a petition to end child support for my older kid who had reached adulthood, and to adjust support for my younger child. Jason handled it very effectively - he knew how to calculate support according to the new statutes, and he argued the case very effectively in front o...f the judge. He stuck to the law instead of making emotional appeals, and won the case despite being up against two experienced opposing lawyers. Throughout it all, Jason was cheerful and communicative, and knew exactly how to present the case. I've had four other attorneys in a long series of post-decree issues, and Jason Shore was by far the best. I really appreciate the good job he did for me, and I recommend him highly.

One of my best friends recommended Jason to me when I found myself in a bit of a crisis. After a domestic abuse incident and filing for an emergent order of protection, Jason was able to show up with last minute notice to the hearing and assisted in extending my OOP for 2 years. That began the longes...t year and a half battle of my life, a battle that Jason fought for me the entire time. He responded promptly to emails and phone calls,was thorough, and went above and beyond in everything that he did. Although I hope to never have to use his services again, I will always continue to recommend him to anyone in need of legal services. I hired Jason almost a year ago for my child support/ parenting agreement. I was a nervous single mother who had no idea what I was getting myself into. The first time I met Jason I left his office feeling a sense of relief. He was genuine and definitely under promised but over achieved in every aspe...ct of my case.
