I can’t say enough good things about Stacy Komers. I have heard people say that attorneys are a nightmare in calling clients back, but my experience was exceptional in all of her follow-up with me. I had been issued an order of protection that did not hold water, but either way I did not know based on the accusations if my partner would show some kind of cause that would be believable to the court. Stacy made my Thanksgiving a peaceful one because I knew that I was in good hands.
I called right before Thanksgiving and not only did she speak to me at length, but I called back without hiring her yet and again she spoke to me. We set up a time to speak that Sunday morning over the phone as I was in another state, and we did speak again for about two hours. She met with me that Monday morning before the trial on Tuesday. She had asked me for things just in case and was prepared for the unexpected from my ex-partner. Stacy’s knowledge is second to none. Stacy was able to show proof by just her questions alone that there was no basis for the order of protection. The case was dismissed. She was empathetic, funny and most of all very smart. She informed me of what would happen and also kept me informed during the hearing. I believe that Stacy is an engaged lawyer that cares about her clients and has enormous attention to detail. I only wish she was a one stop shop for the rest of what I have to deal with coming soon. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a good attorney. Stacey, I can’t thank you enough.

Stacy is very mellow, but you can tell if she has to, she will be an aggressive attorney. Stacy has a lot of knowledge about the laws, and most important common sense, that she applies to the laws that judges or jury agree too. She keeps you up to date with anything that is going on. I went through a lot of lawyers for consultations. Stacy was recommended to me by a lawyer I hired for a different case. What made Stacy different was she has a heart, and mind, to understand what is truly going on. At times when I would talk with Stacy, I wasn't sure if she was my lawyer or a therapist because of how great she was at understanding my situation. If you want a lawyer that's calm, yet confident, honest, but also knows her laws and understands YOUR problem, and finds way to solve it, this is the lawyer to hire. I will update on further cases, but so far, I am more than happy how she has been towards me (the client), even tho at first my cases looked really bad. I am thankful for her time and all she does to show a better side of me to the court.

Stacey Komers was a very pleasant and understanding lawyer to work with on my husbands case. She made a professional impact on giving details. She also made a sound decision in what the outcome would be. Stacey Komers would be a great hire for any clients criminal case.
Matthew Medina, Criminal defense Attorney
I had the privilege to work alongside Stacy when we were both Assistant Cook County State’s Attorneys. I have also observed her work as a top-notch criminal defense attorney. Stacy is truly among the best attorneys I know. She is extremely smart, eloquent, creative and very well respected in the legal community and loved by her clients I give Stacy my highest recommendation.
