Excellent Work

Stacy has a very calm demeanor but that by no means should fool you. She is thorough, well-spoken, and very knowledgeable about the law and due process. I admire her tenacity, attention to detail, and her foresight into my case. I would definitely hire her again. Keep up the good work.

Do Not Hire

At first I thought Stacy was awesome. No, she's a money grabbing lawyer. She has sent agreement to the other parties that were different than what she told me. Once I got to the bottom of all this BS she simply asked me to sign a letter of a file to dismiss. Once again she wrote to me it's for he...r to dismiss the case after we have already signed a "disengagement letter", but not only that however in the new letter a page is for a divorce custody titled for fully different people. First this wasn't a dissolution of marriage, and second me or the other party are not that name. When I confronted her all she said "it's about formality, I don't need you approval, sign it and I'm out"... she sure wasn't out getting thousands up front to lead me on. Poor lawyer. I don't a wish a dime back from it cause she isn't worth a penny. Do not hire! PS on our "final court date" she sent some paralegal idiot while she was partying in vegas. Smh.

First, to protect the confidentiality of your case, if you have any issues with regard to documents sent to other parties in negotiation of your case, we should speak privately about them, rather than on a public forum, such as Avvo. Second, it seems you are concerned about a scriveners error in a pleading I filed on your behalf. My apologies for such; rest assured, it does not materially affect your case, and mistakes happen, as attorneys are human too. Also, as previously discussed, I did not charge you in any respect for the pleading you are complaining about. Third, I would never send a paralegal to step up in court on my behalf, as it is against the law for non-lawyers to appear in court as a lawyer; any associate attorney of mine would do exactly what I would have done in court if I had been there myself. It is sometimes necessary to send associates to cover, rather than neglecting your case entirely. Thank you for expressing your concerns. If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to contact me directly.

Phenomenal Lawyer with great follow up

I can’t say enough good things about Stacy Komers. I have heard people say that attorneys are a nightmare in calling clients back, but my experience was exceptional in all of her follow-up with me. I had been issued an order of protection that did not hold water, but either way I did not know based o...n the accusations if my partner would show some kind of cause that would be believable to the court. Stacy made my Thanksgiving a peaceful one because I knew that I was in good hands. I called right before Thanksgiving and not only did she speak to me at length, but I called back without hiring her yet and again she spoke to me. We set up a time to speak that Sunday morning over the phone as I was in another state, and we did speak again for about two hours. She met with me that Monday morning before the trial on Tuesday. She had asked me for things just in case and was prepared for the unexpected from my ex-partner. Stacy’s knowledge is second to none. Stacy was able to show proof by just her questions alone that there was no basis for the order of protection. The case was dismissed. She was empathetic, funny and most of all very smart. She informed me of what would happen and also kept me informed during the hearing. I believe that Stacy is an engaged lawyer that cares about her clients and has enormous attention to detail. I only wish she was a one stop shop for the rest of what I have to deal with coming soon. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a good attorney. Stacey, I can’t thank you enough. Sincerely, Barbara

Stacy Is Great

Stacy is very mellow, but you can tell if she has to, she will be an aggressive attorney. Stacy has a lot of knowledge about the laws, and most important common sense, that she applies to the laws that judges or jury agree too. She keeps you up to date with anything that is going on. I went through a... lot of lawyers for consultations. Stacy was recommended to me by a lawyer I hired for a different case. What made Stacy different was she has a heart, and mind, to understand what is truly going on. At times when I would talk with Stacy, I wasn't sure if she was my lawyer or a therapist because of how great she was at understanding my situation. If you want a lawyer that's calm, yet confident, honest, but also knows her laws and understands YOUR problem, and finds way to solve it, this is the lawyer to hire. I will update on further cases, but so far, I am more than happy how she has been towards me (the client), even tho at first my cases looked really bad. I am thankful for her time and all she does to show a better side of me to the court.
