I was referred here by a family friend and have never been so disappointed on the lack of counsel with my divorce. I literally saw Chantal for the consultation and one other time over 8 months. Any time I needed advice or anything really I was charged a ridiculous amount of money. I actually ended up... just settling with my ex husband on our own because they just wanted to keep dragging it out and adding up the lawyer fees. It’s disgusting how it was handled especially them knowing I was struggling to support my three children. Although her assistants tried to be nice when I saw them face to face they did nothing to help me at all except charge me. My husband and I both were agreeable and this could have been over in a couple months. Huge waste of time to even hire this woman and I would strongly discourage anyone from working with her. Huge lack of empathy.

I hired Ms Host for my divorce/custody. From the beginning she was extremely professional and gave me the facts, even ones I didn’t want to hear. She is a straight shooter!!! I also had many interactions with her associate Ms Collins as well as Ms Brown ; everyone was top notch professionals. I am ec...static that I found her. Chantal did not drag things out but pushed the judge and the other side to make decisions.

Chantel represented me from Oct 2012-Jan 2014 and I am still not divorced. She kept siding with the my ex lawyer. She allowed my ex lawyer to calculate what I owed without any proof. I never received copies/receipts for daycare,school fees, pension/401k etc and asked for this several times. She tried... to make me sign a support order off what I made 2years ago. She was lazy and just taking money from me. She quit because she was being challenged to do her job. I debated over firing her so she did make it easier for me to move on and actually get my case taken care of by a competent attorney.

Chantal helped me through my divorce in a very effecient, professional manner. She was able to get to the heart of the issues that were important to me, and negotiated a settlement that allowed me to move forward with my children and my life. Chantal is a terrific attorney and more importantly a wo...nderful counselor.
