I was lucky to get Shay as my divorce attorney, the first phone call (consultation) I had with her i immediately knew i wanted her to represent me. Divorce can be messy, challenging, and financially and emotionally draining. I was fortunate enough to have Shay representing me through it all. Unlike the previous lawyer I had hired, who was hostile, condescending, and dismissive of my concerns, Shay took the time to listen to my needs. Interviewing various lawyers in December 2019, I met with Shay and was surprised at how young she looked. She’s the age of my daughters and I wondered would she be capable of handling my divorce which would involve several million dollars of property and division of other assets. Did she have enough ...experience? Another concern of mine was that, even though I would be hiring her for her knowledge of the legal system, I wanted to actively share the bottom line decisions on how certain things would be handled. She agreed to work with me, and my divorce papers were filed in February of 2020. This event in my life proved to be one of the most stressful dragged out events ever! Shay never buckled. January 2024 my divorce was finally resolved! She was there working with me for four very long years dealing with such a difficult advisory… I don’t think many people would have had the drive to see this through. The times when I wanted to fly off the handle, she would give me Calm and appropriate advice as to my next move. She even explained that certain things would be much more expensive thus disproving the idea that ALL attorneys are just about the money. She of course, needs to make a living, but the amount of work she did and the manner which it was done , she was worth every penny of it and then some! I kept my faith in her, and she never let me down. She guided me in the right directions all the way through, and she was very easy to work with. I actually consider her a friend at this point and she not only helped me monetarily get through this divorce, she truly was there emotionally. So don’t let her youth lead you to believe that she doesn’t have the courage, compassion, and knowledge to represent anyone in need of legal assistance.

I hired Shay after I already had an attorney (with another firm) for over a year that was not doing anything on my case. I have 3 little girls and I was fighting my ex-husband in court for relocation and child support. ...After being in court for over a year and nothing being done in my case, I hired Shay and finally things got moving. In less than a year I was able to come up with an agreement with my ex-husband (with Shay's help) and finish my court case. Shay is Definitely one of the best attorneys for family law out there. The team at this firm is not only knowledgeable, but also caring and compassionate.
