Dan Kollias is an incredible lawyer!

Not only is he an honest and genuine person, he is an effective, dedicated, rational and mindful attorney. The staff at Kollias PC are very professional and attentive. Karen, Dan’s personal assistant, always facilitated quick and responsive communication and kept me informed on needs or updates relev...ant to our case. After every court interaction, I was emailed a letter summarizing the specific details and possible steps to move forward. This was a huge plus for me. Dan took on my family’s custody case, despite discouragement and the apparent fact that EVERY card possible was stacked against me, GAL included. So much was unloaded on to him, and he handled it with the utmost importance. The integrity he has in his work exemplifies his genuine intention to produce the best reasonable outcome for his clients. Whether we agreed 100% or not on an approach, Dan trusted me and my opinions. Every decision made was talked out and rationalized. After 2 years of my lengthy and complicated custody journey, with Dan and Kollias PC’s legal help, my outcome was 90% success. Dan is highly recommended.

Simply, the best.

I hired Dan on a very highly litigated case with my daughter. Letting him go was very difficult for me - and I regret it till this day. I have had many attorneys (as my case is on-going) and nobody compares to how Dan was extremely dedicated to my case. Dan is highly well known, respectable, in D...uPage Courts. I have only said positive things about him in what he has done for my case. He was very truthful and communicative. He did his very best to try and protect my daughter. He remembered dates, incidents, evidence, retold my case perfect - even during my arbitration hearing. If I could rehire him, I would in a heart beat. I know he would have never let my case get out of hand. I recommend him if you want someone who will try every strategy to protect you and your child in your case.

Your attorney is everything in a divorce, hire Dan

Learn from my mistakes. I was married for 19 years, while I focused on being a good mom, my xhusbands focus was alcohol. Finally I had enough..I didn't have much money becuz my x was sneaky and thoughtless. Money was gone, hidden who knows...but I took the little I had s hired an attorney. She didn'...t really know the revised divorce laws and my x hired a very experienced attorney from the city. So after s year of basically fees with no results, she handed me off to her sister, this is where it gets interesting. After dealing with her sister and having her sister represent me in a pre-trial I began to have some doubts. I googled her, to my shock and horror she was practicing with a suspended license. I fired her immediately and found another attorney who happily took my money. He really did nothing to move things along, argued with me trying to accept a deal that was not equitable on my behalf. One day I called my x to confirm something and my x casually mentions that he spoke to my attorney over the phone. Again, horrfied and confused snd eight weeks from trial I had to find someone else. It was not an issue if money anymore, I needed someone dedicated, organized and determined. I interviewed Dan Kollias and knew he was the one. Dan had a huge mess to clean up and filter throught almost two years of paperwork. He came in on weekends, responded to every email, every call, kept me apprised as to what was going on. The piece of mind was priceless. I knew he would get the job done and he did. It's finally over, after almost two years and lots of bs I am happily divorced and happy with my settlement. Don't cheap out on your attorney, you need someone sharp, dedicated, result orientated, familiar with the new laws, not intimidated by other counsel and most importsnt ... is on your side! Custody and support.

Dan is an excellent attorney. He let me know everything he could do for my case and made sure he was always a step ahead. He was very honest and always kept me in the loop of what was going on in my case. As a father in DuPage county he helped me get the primary residential custody of my son and rec...ieve child support. He is very knowledgeable of the law. When the time came he had no problem fighting for me.

Great attorney! Very orginaized! Very detailed! Caring & Honest a RARE find!

Let me start off by saying, I dont have a lot of money. I did not flinch when i got my final bill, due to the professional manner that Daniel handled my case. My case was a long case and had a lot of ups and downs. He held my hand the whole way thru. He responded to everything fast! There are emotion...al times in divorce, where you want to blow up on your attorney, Daniel took it all. He understands when there are children involved emotions run hot! He always put my mind at ease and explained everything. At first I was really upset with never getting good news. Then I figured out lawyers are like doctors. When they tell you that you have 3 months to live, then you never die you are happy! Well that was my case... I was always dying, but then I felt alive as I walked out of the court room! I can also say this. As I went through a couple trials, I clearly saw how prepared Daniel was! He had everything prepared, typed out, a copy for me, and everything bullet pointed. At first I thought nothing of it until I saw my exs attorney fumbling thru books and paperwork in the process of the trials. Also as i watched other trials to mentally prepare for my own, I later appreciated Daniels attention to detail. Bottom line is, I would highly recommend Daniel!
