Terry Fawell

I retained Terry for some modifications on my Divorce and parenting agreements. After having dealt with other attorneys who gave me little to no results, I was pleasantly surprised when meeting with Terry. She was respectful and compassionate all while providing the results that I hoped for. From my... 1st court date, I received the representation that my children and I deserved. My only regret is that I hadn't found her initially. Terry and Joanne, her assistant were very attentive to detail and always willing to discuss any issues at hand. I have/will recommended Fawell & Fawell to many people looking for representation in family court.

I HIRED THIS LADY IN FEBRUARY TO HELP WITH A REMOVAL AND INCREASE IN CHILD SUPPORT. THE FATHER OF MY CHILD HAD FILLED SEVERAL OF HIS OWN PETITIONS. THE FIRST DAY OF COURT SHE WAS OVER AN HOUR LATE. EXTREMELY UNPREPARRED, SAID MY LAST NAME WRONG AND SHE COULDNT REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE STATE THAT I WA...S WANTING TO LIVE IN. EVERY COURT DATE WAS A DISASTER. SHE WAS NEVER PREPARRED. IT WAS VERY EMBARRASING. EVERYTIME YOU CALL HER SHE WAS NEVER ARROUND AND NEVER RETURNED THE PHONE CALL. SHE USED HER FLUNKY OF AND LEGAL SECRETARY TO DO ALL HER WORK. I ACTUALLY HAD MORE CONVERSATIONS WITH HER THEN WITH MS. FAWELL. I ACTUALLY FILL FOR HER SECRETARY BECAUSE SHE CAUGHT IT FROM ME SO IM SURE SHE DID FROM OTHERS. LONG STORY SHORT THIS LADY IS STUPID AND OLD AND UNPROFESSIONAL. IF YOU NEED YOUR DOG WALKED DONT CALL THIS LADY, IF YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR CHILDREN DO NOT TRUST HER. SHE WILL MAKE CATCH A FELONY CASE FOR SOMETHNG YOU DIDNT DO THATS HOW UNPREPARRED SHE IS. SHE MIGHT CONFUSE YOU WITH ANOTHER CLIENT SMH . SHE DOES NOT HAVE YOUR BACK AT ALL. IVE WENT MONTHS WITHOUT TALKING TO HER. AND ALMOST A YEAR LATER IM STILL FIGHTING A CASE AND LOOKING FOR A NEW LAWYER.

I was referred by a employee assistance program.We went into a custody battle with a person who was for the most part completely disagreeable. I thought Terry had my side and I was actually going to get somewhere and what I ended up with was a custody agreement with so many loopholes to swing through..., it was ridiculous. There had never been a more one sided contract than I have ever seen! We have recently found out there was some abuse done to my child and somehow he still has to go back to the home of the alleged abuser, because a letter from a therapist was never presented to the judge during an emergency petitioning hearing. Terry has now blown me off and said that I have acquire a new lawyer in my home state to make modifications to a current custody agreement. I don't know how this woman sleeps at night. DO NOT HIRE!

I used her for a child custody case. To start off with, she gave me To incorrect information which was relevant to the case. Things started to get complicated and she handled the case poorly. Was totally unprepared for court. She will not fight for you and does pretty much what the oppoosing attorney... dictates. In my opinion she does not even deserve one star.

I was told that a petition to obtain child support was a "simple thing". However, what Terry failed to do was to read the paperwork for the Marital Settlement that stated that I was to pay unallocated support to my employed ex-wife, even though I had custody of our children. This was never addressed... correctly when my children came to live with me from a prior attorney. This turned into a complex legal battle with mom trying to get custody of our two teenagers, 17 and 15. This has been a nightmare ever since and is totally destroying my relationships and the peace in my family. All I was looking for was a little support from the children's mother during a difficult financial time, who has never paid a dime, who dumped our kids on me without explanation, and has always undermined my parenting efforts.
