I am a passionate advocate who is dedicated to protecting the rights and advancing the interests of my clients. When asked to review any legal problem, I will provide my clients an honest assessment of the legal problem, present strategies designed to maximize the chances of a desired outcome based on my assessment, and once the client has selected a strategy after considering my advice, I will zealously execute the selected strategy to the best of my ability. 

My experience is wide ranging; and I have represented clients across multiple courts and administrative forums throughout the Chicagoland area and Northern Illinois.  I am well versed in dealing with opposing family law attorneys, guardian ad litems, prosecutors, EOIR (Executive Office of Immigration Review) attorneys, and immigration officials.  I am also no stranger to protecting my clients' rights during legal emergencies, as I also have extensive experience dealing directly with the police and DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) investigators on behalf of my clients during active police or DCFS investigations.  

I take pride in what I do, I love trial work, I am an effective negotiator, and I genuinely enjoy finding creative solutions to my clients' difficult legal problems.  I also appreciate that my work often can fundamentally alter the lives of my clients and their families, such as successfully having children returned to the client's care, obtaining legal immigration status for the client, retaining the client's driver's license, or obtaining not guilty verdicts related to felony sex offense allegations that carry potential decades long sentences and lifetime sex offender registration.  

My practice areas include Family Law (Divorce, Parentage, Child Support, DCFS Defense, Orders of Protection), Criminal Defense/Traffic (Felonies, Misdemeanors, and Petty Traffic Matters), and Immigration/Removal/Deportation Proceedings.
