I heard about Mike through a friend, who talked very highly of him. I was skeptical at first because I thought there was no way he'd be able to do what he said he might be able to. Mike was extremely consultative, accessible, and honest throughout the entire process. He worked hard for me and was nev...er on autopilot. He got hands down THE best possible outcome for me with my DUI case. The best case scenarios that other attorneys mentioned to me when I consulted with them weren't half as favorable as what Mike was able to accomplish. Anyone dealing with a case in Illinois should at least consult with this guy because he does great, great work.

I was charged with a DUI and my driver's license was suspended. I hired Michael Young to defend me. The state's case was extremely solid with a damaging video of extremely poor driving. Michael didn't hit a home run, but a grand slam, as I was found not guilty on the DUI and had my suspension re...scinded. Michael has vast courtroom experience, a superior knowledge of the law, and demonstrated a logical, practical and strategically superior approach representing me against the state. He succeeded in securing 2 very key stipulations with state's attorney, and was effective in obtaining key information from the arresting officer which proved to be the deciding evidence in the judge's ruling. I hired Michael Young to fight against a summary suspension and DUI. He successfully beat both. I am extremely pleased. He clearly has the knowledge and experience. He is very available to reach personally and great about returning phone calls. He did worry me a little with his extreme optimism, but ...as it turned out, he was right, and he knew it. When it was his turn during trial to present the case, he ripped apart the prosecution's case. He put on a clinic in the courtroom. It was actually quite entertaining to witness despite the situation I was in. He is clearly the right attorney for a DUI case. My only negative was his tardiness, but this is not a reason not to hire him. I'm sure he juggles many cases as most attorneys probably do, but he obviously knows the system well enough that it doesn't matter. He knows the system, he knows the law, and he knows how to get results. He has a fighting attitude and says that he will do whatever it takes and will schedule as many court dates as it takes to get a win. 10/10 would hire/recommend again.

Michael J. Young is the best lawyer I could have possibly hired. I went to a previous lawyer initially and wasn't satisfied so I stopped by Michael's office to speak with him face to face. I knew he was the right criminal defense lawyer for me the minute we began talking. He is so knowledgable and ma...de me feel comfortable throughout my entire case. What I love most about Michael is that he does not give up on a fight in the court room. I had gotten a DUI and plead guilty but Michael still filed a Motion to Quash because he does not give up on a case. With his expertise, my court costs dropped significantly and 2 of my 3 charges have been dropped! I expected to pay a hefty fine but Michael was able to convince the judge to lower the cost of the DUI charge. I highly recommend hiring Michael Young if you want to feel safe during your DUI case from start to finish. I do not have a single complaint for his hard work and expertise in criminal defense.
