Beware Paula. Red flags went off during my consultation with her. "Are you ready to fight." "You can always file for bankruptcy." She is actually worse than the attorney I fired. Currently my friend had to let her go because she just kept making sure her divorce case does not settle. Even when the ot...her party was ready. She would purposely not have documents correctly written or not ready. Worst legal advice to keep the divorce case going. Not trustworthy or professional.

I hired Paula for an adoption case for minors and an adult adoption. These cases are not easy. She was hired in the middle of the minor adoption case. She jumped right in & did MORE in the case in a few months than the prior attorney did in a year into the case. She is so diligent , knows the law and... truly cares for her clients. She made a statement that she wants all of her clients to feel like her only client and she shows this with her compassion and work she puts into your case. I can not recommend her enough!! She got the job done and did it well! Thoroughly explains the best and worst case scenarios. If you hire her she will fight for you and you will not be disappointed. I can not thank her enough for what she has done for our family!

I was billed for time that was actually work done by the opposing attorney! Never have I seen such money grubbing tactics. Many expect lawyers to be sharks,and have little morals,but she sets the bar at an all time low. I fired her,did not get back any of my pricey retainer,which really,none of it wa...s used. There wasn't time. I got a new lawyer at half the cost and had the expected outcome. I will be taking her to court to retrieve what I paid although even if I wasn't,what I did pay was worth it to be rid of her and her extreme greed and rude behavior. Seems like that is a recurring theme with her.

Paula is a consummate professional. I hadn't read any reviews on her: she was referred to me by a neighbor when I was going through a surprise divorce. I was stunned with no real time to process what was happening to me. Paula spoke in a comforting yet matter-of-fact way that kept my head in the g...ame without having to be negative with my soon to be ex. My goal was to get through with the divorce as cleanly and painlessly without acrimony, but I still needed to be sure I was taken care of. Paula was able to work with us (representing me only) making it easy for both me and the ex to feel like our arrangement was fair and efficient. No unnecessary continuances, no unnecessary fees and she did all the leg work. She's smart. She's honest, and our divorce was accomplished as quickly as legally possible. She was able to reassure and educate us both without ever feeling condescended to. Her billing and rates was beyond reasonable. After all this, I really feel a new lease on life and she's helped me avoid feeling bitter and mistreated. I'm so grateful she's in my community. Even my ex would recommend her, and has.

I have no idea why Paula has the previous reviews... Paula has been my attorney for two cases and she has always been wonderful toward me. I hope I don't have to, but if I ever do need to go to court again, Paula is the only attorney I will consider hiring. I had an expensive attorney at the beginnin...g of my case, and my case was constantly continued and my lawyer wouldn't talk to me. I had no idea what was going on. As soon as I hired Paula, the case was settled much quicker and she did a wonderful job. She just recently won a big case for me and I will forever be grateful! I highly recommend Paula Rieghns if you want an attorney that cares about your case and your family.
