Paula Rieghns

DO NOT HIRE - I’m very disappointed in my experience with attorney Paula Rieghns. After working on my case for over two years and collecting significant fees, she abruptly withdrew just before trial without just cause. This left me in an extremely difficult position with little time to prepare or sec...ure new representation. I expected better communication, commitment, and professionalism—especially during such a critical time in my case.

I had days left to get a notice in front of a judge and no lawyers seemed to understand my need. I was referred to Paula from another lawyer and decided to stop in to set up an appointment. Paula was understanding with my time constraints and somehow everything fell into place from the moment I w...alked in the door to the court date. The starts aligned and I am so grateful for you taking in my case.

I was billed for time that was actually work done by the opposing attorney! Never have I seen such money grubbing tactics. Many expect lawyers to be sharks,and have little morals,but she sets the bar at an all time low. I fired her,did not get back any of my pricey retainer,which really,none of it wa...s used. There wasn't time. I got a new lawyer at half the cost and had the expected outcome. I will be taking her to court to retrieve what I paid although even if I wasn't,what I did pay was worth it to be rid of her and her extreme greed and rude behavior. Seems like that is a recurring theme with her.

I have no idea why Paula has the previous reviews... Paula has been my attorney for two cases and she has always been wonderful toward me. I hope I don't have to, but if I ever do need to go to court again, Paula is the only attorney I will consider hiring. I had an expensive attorney at the beginnin...g of my case, and my case was constantly continued and my lawyer wouldn't talk to me. I had no idea what was going on. As soon as I hired Paula, the case was settled much quicker and she did a wonderful job. She just recently won a big case for me and I will forever be grateful! I highly recommend Paula Rieghns if you want an attorney that cares about your case and your family.

I have never seen or herd of an attorney that had zero professional status until I retained PAULA RIEGHNS as my attorney her location is 821 E Grant High Way Marango IL. Paula Rieghns and he staff never had the billing correct she gave me a bill for $1.500.00 with out any description of her service...s and expected me to pay Paula blacked out any and all services she Said she provided for me. I then took this matter to court and the judge caught her in all the false billing charges that she said she provided for me. Paula also did not include any of the cash payment I made. Good thing that I always keep my receipts long story short the judge said I only had to pay $700.00 out of her bill. Paula Rieghns never came to court prepared she always shuffled through the documents that I brought to court on my own. Paula Rieghns also charged me for motions that she said she rewrote and when it came time to file the motion I reviewed it and found out the truth. The matter I am speaking of was for my child Paula Rieghns will not have the best interest for your child or you. Paula Rieghns went to court multiple times for me and did not make sure prior to the court date that the other party had an provided all documents that she had requested prior to the court date this was the evidence that I needed to win my case. All as I can say is by PAULA RIEGHNS not being a professional ,trustworthy, honest, attorney she lost me over $12.000.00 dollars that I should have received . The moral of this story is if you see the name Paula Rieghns attorney at law RUN AWAY FAST. I truly hope that this review saves and helps others so they do not get caught up with a person like PAULA RIEGHNS. P S. Make sure you make all copy's of any documents that you provide her because it will be a true nightmare to get anything back that you gave her.
