Divorce / Rehabilitative Maintenence Review of Mike Chapski

As a client, I experienced working directly with Mike Chapski and his staff for an initial divorce agreement and then a maintenance review case. In addition to understanding the emotional stress accompanying such an event, Mike's communication and follow-up (via phone calls and emails) to keep me ...up-to-date was superb. He provided me with realistic expectations prior to the initial settlement agreement and again later at a review hearing. Mike demonstrated complete understanding of my personal case facts and extensive timeline of events during a cross examination court hearing event which led to the vital facts of my case coming out and our position being supported by the Judge. During the hearing, Mike's professionalism and the mutual respect to and from the Judge was obvious, compared to my ex's counsel who wanted to argue with the Judge. Regarding the final arguments from counsel, Mike diligently followed the Judge's requests and provided a clear, well-written, and case-law supported final document. So nice and understanding

I just met Mr. Chapski today. I went to this meeting for custody of my son nervous and not knowing how it would go. He was so professional and caring. He made me feel like I have known him for years. I would recommend him forever. Afterwards I did some reaserch on him. What an honor it is to have him... represent my son in court. I couldn't have picked anyone better.

Top-Notch Attorney with High Morals and Ethics!

Michael Chapski represented me over the last several years in dealing with the aftermath of a very ugly divorce. It was very complicated, with many moving parts. Not only did Mr. Chapski tenaciously stay on top of every detail, he assisted in bringing to light some very damaging evidence against my e...x-wife that ultimately aided in getting a settlement overwhelmingly in my favor. Most importantly, the settlement protects my children. I am happy to say that my kids well-being and financial future are now protected, thanks to Mr. Chapski’s hard work. He not only focused on winning the issues in the case in the short-term, but creating an agreement that would be in the best interest of my children in the long-term. It was a proactive approach to dealing with potential situations that could arise in the future with my ex in regards to our children. The terms of the settlement agreement will also hopefully eliminate any future court appearances. As are most post-divorce issues involving children, they are fused with much drama and emotion. Michael is excellent at keeping the facts the focus but at the same time realizing the sensitivity around some subjects. A few things to highlight: 1 – Mr. Chapski’s billing was extremely fair and accurate. 2 – He was very attentive to my needs with a prompt return of phone calls and e-mails 3 – There was always very thorough preparation/attention to detail 4 – He had a complete knowledge and understanding of the moving parts of our case – a case with 10 years of back-history 5 - He was tenacious in crafting an acceptable settlement that would protect my children 6 – He ALWAYS kept the best interests of my children at the forefront 7 – He has a great deal of integrity and a strong moral and ethical compass

"Divorce from Hell" Made Easier

I had engaged an Attorney initally that decided that my case might be more than she could handle, so recommended Mike Chapski to me, and I am glad that she did. My divorce went to trial after attempting to negotiate a settlement with my ex-wife and he Attorney (s) "du jour". Mr. Chapski acted as a ...great advocate helping me to navigate a divorce complicated by an angry and spiteful ex-spouse that was happy to have a protracted divorce process. He was professional at every turn, and advised me in a way that ultimately saved me tens of thousands of dollars. Mike is extremely professional and clearly well respected by judges and his peer attorneys. I would highly recommend Mike and his services.

Efficient and Professional

Michael Chapski is a superb attorney. I had hired another attorney to handle my divorce and things were not going well. There was a lot at stake in my divorce and there were some unusual circumstances, including my being located in a different state. Michael was recommended to me and I called him for... a consultation. I shared with him my circumstances and what had happened in the divorce so far. His knowledge of the law and how it would affect my circumstances was excellent. He took over my case and did a fantastic job. He fought for me, something the first attorney was not doing. My divorce had gone on for over a year with no end in sight when I hired him, and Michael got a settlement for me within a matter of weeks. His professionalism, intelligence, knowledge of the law, integrity, and trustworthiness was outstanding. He commands respect from everyone when he enters the room and he does not back down. Yet everything that he does is totally honest and ethical. He knows good strategy and lines of communication between he and I were always open. I received a very fair settlement thanks to Michael.
