Fantastic attorney who defended me like I was his own sister

With Scott Andresen as my attorney, I had a thoughtful attorney with important practice expertise with the loyalty of an older brother. He pursued my case with the tenacity of a family member and protected me in a similar way. He was thoughtful about how the case impacted me financially and persona...lly. I called Scott in the immediate aftermath of a horrible even that occurred during the taping of a pilot for a proposed show. I was pretty traumatized at that point. Scott had experience with the sort of people I’d been dealing with and was, consequently, able to anticipate what to expect from them. Unfortunately, these people actually blew all previous precedents for human behavior that either of us had ever experienced. The case plodded along for 5 years. I trusted him so much and was so traumatized as a consequence of the original situation, as well as the way the case was proceeding, that we agreed that he could proceed with the case without apprising me of every development. He would call me occasionally to update me about the germaine details, while sparing me any unnecessary exposures to the ugliness of the case. I have no regrets about that decision and was never disappointed with the decisions he made. When the time came to develop litigation strategy, I decided to add a litigator from another firm to my team with Scott. Scott merged smoothly with the other litigator and they did an incredible job parceling out responsibilities and collaborating on strategy. Scott was always incredibly cognizant of my bills. I always felt that he was doing everything possible to minimize my billings for the case- sometimes that meant pursuing less costly strategies, sometimes it meant pushing the work to more junior associates.

Scott Andresen is trustworthy, dependable and sensitive to your business & personal needs

I've known Scott for almost 25 years and recently had the distinct privilege of hiring Scott as my attorney. From incorporating my business to developing & reviewing contracts, Scott is extremely responsive and always informative whenever we are in need. Beyond his legal expertise, Scott knows what i...t means to be a business owner and has become someone I turn to for general business advice on a number of topics and issues. Best of all, when you need a "pit bull" Scott can bark & bite with the best...contrarily, he can calm your nerves when it’s important to act with a level-head. If you are so lucky as to hire Scott, you will realize you've not only hired solid attorney, but a trusted advisor and all-around great guy.

Client Review

I was recommended to Scott Andresen by Marci Rolnik, Legal Director of the Lawyers For The Creative Arts. Scott has been most helpful working with my co-author, Terri G. Scaletta and myself guiding us and protecting us with regards to my book/movie projects. He has been an attorney who has alwa...ys thought of our welfare as well as the importance of my book/movie projects to come to fruition in the most timely manner. Scott believes in the hard work that we have put into these projects and is there for the long haul of this journey. We appreciate him being accessible either by phone, e-mail and/or a meeting at his office. He understands our need to be "flexible" as we are working with screenwriters, producers and other professionals who are in different cities and time zones. Both Terri and I have and will recommend him to people we meet who can benefit from his dedication and service. Sincerely, Ellen S. Miller

"Scott and I worked together to successfully secure a multi-million dollar judgment for a client. Scott is a very creative thinker that has the unique ability to see different aspects of the law and eloquently argue his perspective. Aside from Scott's acumen as an attorney, the best thing I can say about him is that he care deeply about the community. He selflessly volunteers his time to mentor young attorneys and organizes fundraisers for the less fortunate."
