I was blessed and fortunate to have David Del Re recommended to me. David has been representing me for several years both pre and post-divorce. I had order of protection case. I was scared and I knew it would be a difficult case because of who the person was. I didn't know where to turn to for help nor who to trust. He is very experienced, knowledgeable in the matters of family law and is equally comfortable in the ways of the Lake County court system. He represented me quite skil...lfully at my divorce trial and did so at a very fair price. Importantly, he was always up front about what he could or couldn't get for me. He could have charged more money but billed me less out of concern for me. When has your lawyer done that for you? You can go ahead and hire a high priced divorce specialist and think you'll get everything you want ( because you won't ) or you can hire a pragmatic negotiator who gets an unpleasant job done in the most cost efficient manner possible. Four years for only a parenting agreement?!?! No divorce. No child support issues. Just a parenting agreement! He does not return calls/emails promptly. Total fees were over $10k, but no results! He fired me as a client without notice. Is that legal?! I hired another attorney who got it done in l...ess than six months and for about 1/10 of the cost! If you have no clout in Lake Co., RUN!
