David R. Del Re

When my husband was charged with a crime that he did not commit, we were advised by my attorney to go to Mr. Del Re. He said that although he can't guarentee it, he felt that my spouce's case was very winnable, the state's case was full of holes and inaccuracies. After obtaining the needed down payme...nt (we had to empty our savings and borrow from family while waiting for the disbursement of my retirement acoount to be paid to me). I did all the leg work on the case giving him all the documentation on the case for my husbands defense. On the first day of "trial" when jury selection was to begin, he asked for additional money. I told him that my retirement money would be in hand in 3 days...he told me "I have kids to feed" (in his sharp expensive suit) then turned to judge Rosetti and said "I need to recuse myself from this case as I have a difference of opinion with my client." So my husband was stuck without an attourney at the beginning of trial, after he took alot of money for defending my husband. There was no way we would have had enough to get another lawyer. He ruined our lives. Yes, my husband was convicted.

I would never recommend David Del Re. He is one of the worst lawyers out there. He worked on my family law case, and he promised all these things during our consultation. He said he could win my case, he would file petitions and then he would not follow through with them. He just took my money, ...he ripped me off. I would never recommend him either for family law or for criminal. My cousin used him for a criminal matter, he just took his money and my cousin still got convicted. I wouldn't use this lawyer even if he was free. But act at your own risk!!!
