When my husband was charged with a crime that he did not commit, we were advised by my attorney to go to Mr. Del Re. He said that although he can't guarentee it, he felt that my spouce's case was very winnable, the state's case was full of holes and inaccuracies. I did all the leg work on the case giving him all the documentation on the case for my husbands defense. On the first day of "trial" when jury selection was to begin, he asked for additional money. I told him that my retirement money would be in hand in 3 days...he told me "I have kids to feed" (in his sharp expensive suit) then turned to judge Rosetti and said "I need to recuse myself from this case as I have a difference of opinion with my client." So my husband was stuck without an attourney at the beginning of trial, after he took alot of money for defending my husband. There was no way we would have had enough to get another lawyer. He ruined our lives. Yes, my husband was convicted.
