Many times, people want to complain about their attorney because they either are inexperienced in how the legal process works or they had a bad case to begin with and they expected their attorney to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. I have had to use professional legal services from many attorne...ys in many states over the course of my career. I have found that if you keep the emotions out of it, your attorney can get you the best result. This includes not hammering your attorney with daily calls and emails seeking "updates". The legal process moves incredibly slow by most peoples' standards and can be frustrating for the litigants as well as their attorneys. Unfortunately, there isn't much anyone can do to make the courts go faster as they too are clogged with heavy caseloads. The point is you have to set reasonable expectations with your attorney and they need to work as efficiently and effectively to get you results without wasting your precious resources in gaining you the best possible outcome the court may allow. Nothing is ever guaranteed because you just don't know what a judge or jury will determine. It's how the system works. Mr. Del Re did a great job for me. He and his staff kept me updated throughout the proceedings...he filed motions that moved my case along expediently...he was able to negotiate with opposing counsel to save precious time and dollars in litigating my case. I was blessed and fortunate to have David Del Re recommended to me. David has been representing me for several years both pre and post-divorce. I was in a custody fight for my 2 children. After a year and a half with my first lawyer and thousands of dollars spent I was nowhere. I found David and after my first meeting with him I felt very confident with him on my case. As stated in a previous review, if negative stars were available, the would apply to David Del Re. After discussing my divorce case with David, and explaining in detail the single specific financial detail that my wife and I were in disagreement about, I hired David based on his suggestions that I h...ad a case. That was were his involvement with my case ended, as he didn't respond to emails, questions, and did nothing to actually look at his notes, understand the very simple point of disagreement with my case, and prepare for my pretrial. At pretrial, David was the only one who had no idea about what my actual dispute was with my wife, and it was a complete and total embarrassment. Instead of admitting that he didn't understand my case, and spent zero time reviewing, David accused me of lying to him and the court, which is completely and utterly ridiculousness. This experience was a complete waste of money and time and I strongly recommend you stay far away from David Del Re and his firm.
