David R. Del Re

I was fortunate enough to find and use the services of David Del Re and his law practice to assist in a custody battle. I was able to get Sole Custody of my 8 year old daughter and after several years of having to go through the ringer with my ex, David was able to take on my case quickly and execute... so we were on the offensive instead of on the defense in our case. He used the proof or information I had and put it to good use so we were able to have a likely outcome and in the end in Trial. As a proud Father I would definitely refer David and his office to any person who is looking for someone to have their back and be efficient to serve the Best Interests of the Child. I was blessed and fortunate to have David Del Re recommended to me. David has been representing me for several years both pre and post-divorce. My ex-husband’s goal was to ruin my life by spending almost every penny we had. David represented me throughout the years for an order of protection hear...ing, custody trial, financial trial, visitation hearings, child support issues, maintenance issues, and contempt issues against both me and my ex. He supported me while my children and I were dealing with a Child representative, two Custody Evaluators, an attorney for my child, and supported my oldest child by filing a petition for an “In Camera Hearing.” David took the lead and I trusted his ability to represent me on both an Appeal with the Appellate Court and next with the Supreme Court of IL. All initiated by my ex-husband. David has been successful defending for me in every aspect of my divorce proceedings. My ex was so frustrated losing he went through at least 5 different attorney’s. David is exceptional in trial. I can’t imagine anyone as Masterful as him. David is extremely articulate, knowledgeable, quick thinking, persuasive and passionate. He aggressively advocates for me while at the same time exhibiting class and professionalism throughout all of my divorce proceedings. I never had any other attorney there is no reason : Custody Trial – I got sole custody, Financial Trial – lucrative outcome, Trials and hearings regarding my children – successful, Contempt charges –won, Appeal – won, Supreme Court verdict – won, and David’s Fees- very reasonable. I recommended David to several people. They all have been very impressed and pleased with his work. David will fight passionately for you. He is responsive and will get back to you with your questions and concerns. He is always prepared and ready to fight on your behalf. David takes the time to care. You will be in good hands with him and he will help you get through your difficult times successfully.

David has represented me for almost 5 years in post-decree divorce matters, and we have faced just about every allegation you can imagine involving Child Support, Custody & Visitation. I have been divorced for almost 10 years and have 3 minor children. Over the years I have had several different at...torneys and have found David to be the best! He is extremely smart and efficient and he knows the law and can think on his feet. He has great relationships with the people you need on your side and is definitely respected by the Judges. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has issues in Family Court. He is fair, honest, capable and knows how to get things done. He isn't the cheapest solution available but he's not the most expensive either - you definitely get a good bang for your buck. His support staff is also very capable and smart which makes a bigger difference than you might realize. I don't know how I would have gotten through the last 5 years without David. As stated in a previous review, if negative stars were available, the would apply to David Del Re. After discussing my divorce case with David, and explaining in detail the single specific financial detail that my wife and I were in disagreement about, I hired David based on his suggestions that I h...ad a case. That was were his involvement with my case ended, as he didn't respond to emails, questions, and did nothing to actually look at his notes, understand the very simple point of disagreement with my case, and prepare for my pretrial. At pretrial, David was the only one who had no idea about what my actual dispute was with my wife, and it was a complete and total embarrassment. Instead of admitting that he didn't understand my case, and spent zero time reviewing, David accused me of lying to him and the court, which is completely and utterly ridiculousness. This experience was a complete waste of money and time and I strongly recommend you stay far away from David Del Re and his firm.

If I could give negative stars, i would. Originally the contingency of hiring DelRe was that he represent my case, not his associate Kat Allen. He assured me he would represent, which was a compete lie. The case has been ongoing for almost a year and thousands of dollars later, nothing has been accom...plished. David never once worked with us as he promised, he passed the case to his associate Kat. She does not understand the nuances of child support calculations and was completely at a loss when up against opposing counsel.
