I interviewed several lawyers before meeting with Mr. Moran. After meeting with him I knew by far he was the best choice. Although nothing is guaranteed, he was the most optimistic of my case. He put me at ease, as you often think the worse in these situations. All the other lawyers were quick to... offer the typical end result of Supervision, etc. Mr. Moran has an extensive background in dealing with DUI/DWI cases. He used to prosecute them so he knows how both sides operate, which is a huge advantage. He was very familiar with the Judges at the Skokie courthouse and used that to my advantage to make sure I was given a fair chance. He was always very professional and seemed to be well respected by the other lawyers in the courtroom. He was most impressive during my motion to quash and petition to rescind. After questioning the arresting officer, even the other lawyers were commenting on how well he did. It was like something off of TV. I didn't expect such an awesome performance. All my charges were dismissed completely. I am extremely grateful to him for getting me my life back.

Tom handled my DUI case and I could not be happier with the outcome. He knows what he is doing there is no doubt about that. It was a stressful and aggravating experience and I am glad its over. We ended up going to trial on the matter and I was found NOT GUILTY. It could have easily gone the other w...ay and quite honestly I had very low expectations the day of the trial I figured I was just there to see how screwed I was gonna get and yet the verdict was NOT GUILTY. There where things that Tom did and said during the trial and the summary suspension hearing that made me say to myself this guy is good, little things but very effective. Retain Tom and you will see what I mean. The week before the trial I found out a friend of a friend had hired Tom also and was found NOT GUILTY. Thanks again.

I am married to a lawyer, so obviously there are a lot of lawyers in my life. But the practice of law is very diverse, and just like a carpenter, you need the right tool for the job. DUI and Criminal Law is a stand alone specialty that I have been fortunate never to need. My spouse was smart enou...gh to know that he was not going to represent me when I was arrested with a DUI, an incredibly serious charge in the state of Illinois. Many conversations with friends that are attorneys brought us to Tom. At this point, I believe this was almost divine intervention. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and empathetic. I really felt that he believed in me, as he represented me through the long DUI process, multiple court appearances, eventual trial and ultimately expungement. DUI is a very painful process to go through unless that is your everyday lifestyle and it was not mine. Tom understood that. Not only would I not hesitate to hire him again, I have recommended him to friends and family in the event that they or their children go through this process. I can honestly say that some of my spouse's attorney friends would use him as a result of my experience. Sometimes a DUI will represent a lifestyle problem that needs to be dealt with. But sometimes a DUI will represent a isolated bad choice not to eat, or be emotionally or physically drained and then being in the wrong place at the wrong moment in your life, an incredible misfortune. I feel blessed that my life crossed with Tom, he was really in my corner when I needed someone to be.

Our son made a teenage mistake at the high school. He did something wrong and he accepted responsibility for his actions. The crime was small but it fell into a category that could have tarnished him for life. Tom worked with the Prosecutor and the Judge demonstrating that it was not in the benefi...t of society to ruin this young man's life. Our son was granted the best possible outcome we could have hoped for. I did not expect Tom Moran to put in the hours or the effort that he did to help our family. His legal fees were very reasonable but his skill and professionalism were outstanding. I highly recommend Tom Moran as a lawyer.
