Tom represented me for a first offense DUI. Tom is truly nothing short of remarkable and I don't say that lightly. His defense of me, and his commitment to my case, cannot be surpassed by any other attorney and I'm willing to bet there are few others that can even come close. Tom's professionalism and responsiveness are without question. ...I realized early on in our relationship that he is VERY VERY bright, very experienced, and he was 100% dedicated to the best defense that could be mustered on my behalf. Tom kept informed of all the legal proceedings that were upcoming as well as all the filings he was executing on my behalf. Simply put, I could have not been better informed or better equipped to deal with my case. With all that said I was still stunned Tom's ability to perform in open court. He was nothing short of remarkable. Tom decided we should try my case rather than plead. He was right. I was acquitted. For me it was very disconcerting and scary to put my fate in the hands of a judge but I followed Tom's lead. He was supremely prepared for the trial and put on a masterful defense. Watching Tom defend me confirmed to me that he is VERY sharp, he can think on his feet, and he knows EXACTLY what do to do at trial. If a trial can be avoided to your betterment, he will tell you. I cannot say enough good things about Tom and the commitment he showed to me. Everyone should be as lucky as I was in finding Tom to represent me.

Tom handled my DUI case and I could not be happier with the outcome. He knows what he is doing there is no doubt about that. It was a stressful and aggravating experience and I am glad its over. We ended up going to trial on the matter and I was found NOT GUILTY. It could have easily gone the other w...ay and quite honestly I had very low expectations the day of the trial I figured I was just there to see how screwed I was gonna get and yet the verdict was NOT GUILTY. There where things that Tom did and said during the trial and the summary suspension hearing that made me say to myself this guy is good, little things but very effective. Retain Tom and you will see what I mean. The week before the trial I found out a friend of a friend had hired Tom also and was found NOT GUILTY. Thanks again.

I am married to a lawyer, so obviously there are a lot of lawyers in my life. But the practice of law is very diverse, and just like a carpenter, you need the right tool for the job. DUI and Criminal Law is a stand alone specialty that I have been fortunate never to need. My spouse was smart enou...gh to know that he was not going to represent me when I was arrested with a DUI, an incredibly serious charge in the state of Illinois. Many conversations with friends that are attorneys brought us to Tom. At this point, I believe this was almost divine intervention. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and empathetic. I really felt that he believed in me, as he represented me through the long DUI process, multiple court appearances, eventual trial and ultimately expungement. He also ran interference for me with my state professional association when I was in danger of losing my professional license and job. The whole process was a little under 2 years, but after each appearance in front of different judges, my husband and attorney friends would be a little awestruck at his unique approach. I would not have hesitated to have him represent me all the way to the Illinois Supreme Court. Fortunately that was not necessary. DUI is a very painful process to go through unless that is your everyday lifestyle and it was not mine. Tom understood that. Not only would I not hesitate to hire him again, I have recommended him to friends and family in the event that they or their children go through this process. I can honestly say that some of my spouse's attorney friends would use him as a result of my experience. Sometimes a DUI will represent a lifestyle problem that needs to be dealt with. But sometimes a DUI will represent a isolated bad choice not to eat, or be emotionally or physically drained and then being in the wrong place at the wrong moment in your life, an incredible misfortune. I feel blessed that my life crossed with Tom, he was really in my corner when I needed someone to be.
