Thomas Mark Moran

I was referred to Tom Moran by a friend when I had no idea where to start looking. I needed a DUI lawyer for an incident that happened last year. Tom was helpful and informative, and made me feel more at ease about the situation when I met with him for the first time. Although it was a long process, ...Tom was with me every step of the way, explaining what was going on and what the potential outcomes were. Tom advised me to go to trial instead of taking a plea, and I trusted his instincts. A bench trial was held, and Tom did a great job. He was very convincing and thorough, and the judge's final decision was that I was not guilty of a DUI offense. It was the best possible outcome, and I was thrilled. After the trial, a stranger that had been sitting in came up to me to let me know how lucky I had gotten with Tom Moran- that he was one of the two best DUI lawyers he knew. I feel that I did get very luck with Tom, considering I had no idea where to even start. I would recommend him to anyone.

Tom is truly nothing short of remarkable and I don't say that lightly. His defense of me, and his commitment to my case, cannot be surpassed by any other attorney and I'm willing to bet there are few others that can even come close. Tom's professionalism and responsiveness are without question. ...I realized early on in our relationship that he is VERY VERY bright, very experienced, and he was 100% dedicated to the best defense that could be mustered on my behalf. Tom kept informed of all the legal proceedings that were upcoming as well as all the filings he was executing on my behalf. Simply put, I could have not been better informed or better equipped to deal with my case. With all that said I was still stunned Tom's ability to perform in open court. He was nothing short of remarkable. Tom decided we should try my case rather than plead. He was right. I was acquitted. For me it was very disconcerting and scary to put my fate in the hands of a judge but I followed Tom's lead. He was supremely prepared for the trial and put on a masterful defense. Watching Tom defend me confirmed to me that he is VERY sharp, he can think on his feet, and he knows EXACTLY what do to do at trial. If a trial can be avoided to your betterment, he will tell you. I cannot say enough good things about Tom and the commitment he showed to me. Everyone should be as lucky as I was in finding Tom to represent me.

Tom was a superstar in preparation and brought his "A" game to the court room. I was wrongfully accused of a criminal act against a juvenile. Tom expertly exposed the contrived story of my accuser and the judge dismissed the case by a directive finding (which is a stronger statement by the court tha...n a not guilty judgment).

I interviewed several lawyers before meeting with Mr. Moran. After meeting with him I knew by far he was the best choice. Although nothing is guaranteed, he was the most optimistic of my case. He put me at ease, as you often think the worse in these situations. All the other lawyers were quick to... offer the typical end result of Supervision, etc. Mr. Moran has an extensive background in dealing with DUI/DWI cases. He used to prosecute them so he knows how both sides operate, which is a huge advantage. He was very familiar with the Judges at the Skokie courthouse and used that to my advantage to make sure I was given a fair chance. He was always very professional and seemed to be well respected by the other lawyers in the courtroom. He was most impressive during my motion to quash and petition to rescind. After questioning the arresting officer, even the other lawyers were commenting on how well he did. It was like something off of TV. I didn't expect such an awesome performance. All my charges were dismissed completely. I am extremely grateful to him for getting me my life back.

Tom handled my DUI case and I could not be happier with the outcome. He knows what he is doing there is no doubt about that. It was a stressful and aggravating experience and I am glad its over. We ended up going to trial on the matter and I was found NOT GUILTY. It could have easily gone the other w...ay and quite honestly I had very low expectations the day of the trial I figured I was just there to see how screwed I was gonna get and yet the verdict was NOT GUILTY. There where things that Tom did and said during the trial and the summary suspension hearing that made me say to myself this guy is good, little things but very effective. Retain Tom and you will see what I mean. The week before the trial I found out a friend of a friend had hired Tom also and was found NOT GUILTY. Thanks again.
