I really appreciated Joel's straightforward, fact-based approach to my divorce. What seemed like an easy divorce (no kids, no assets) on the surface became much more complicated by an ex who was refusing to be a willing participant and chose to drag things out unnecessarily over a two-year period. Du...ring that time, Joel was always available to paint a realistic picture of potential outcomes and strategize on the best approach. Ultimately, we were able to settle the divorce under basically the original terms that were proposed. While frustrating that I had to pay for two years of attorney's fees before my ex got on board with the reality of the situation, I so appreciate that Joel supported me in sticking to my guns and was flexible with his pricing to the extent that he could.
