Scam Artist

Do yourself a huge favor and hire someone else. I wish I read the other one-star reviews on Mark before I hired him because they are spot on. He will ask a bunch of questions and when you try to answer them he will change the subject or just blatantly interrupt. At first I thought he just a very p...oor listener but then I figured he was just running up the hours over the phone. I had to spoonfeed everything to him along the way and repeatedly explain things to him. After he repeatedly failed to get a deal done, at one point he just blatantly lied to me and said we had a deal, then dragged it out for six more months. In the end I just had to call my ex directly and negotiate things myself since it became clear that I would have been better off representing myself.

Regret

I wish I knew about this site prior to hiring Mark. Everything I read was what I experienced and then some. At one point I couldn’t get ahold of him/his assistant for six months. Had to repeat things over and over all while being charged for it every time. He would write up things to put in my file r...egarding my ex wife not following the parental agreement and forget to send it to her lawyer. Ran up the bill and at the end pushed me To settle for a lot less then he lead me to believe. And never really listened when I would talk to him. He left out a tax issue that I told him about at the beginning, middle and towards the end. He got pushed around by my ex-wife and her lawyer. There’s more, but this should be enough. You can certainly find a better lawyer then Mark

Follow-Up Review

All concerns have been satisfactorily and honorably resolved. Previous note, while frank, was unfairly harsh with the benefit of time and space.

Fair and Effective Divorce Attorney

Mark Schondorf worked diligently and effectively to help me resolve my divorce. Although this divorce did not have a lot of drama as some do, there were tricky business ownership and royalty issues to resolve. Mark patiently worked to resolve these differences that in some cases, due to the opposing ...council, took longer then they should have. All the while he also billed me fairly and properly. I would recommend him as a competent attorney, a good listener and one sympathetic to his clients needs.

Mark is a very professional attorney who has a thriving and growing firm. He managed my divorce with ease, understanding and efficiency. I would use him again if and when I ever need an attorney/firm to represent me.
