I've used Candice both for my divorce mediation and also for a 5-year follow-up. Her professionalism, knowledge and compassion work together very well in a mediation setting. I was referred to Candice by a professional acquaintance, as my ultimate goal in meeting Candice was to adopt and utilize the collaborative process for my divorce case. In my professional life I have worked with numerous lawyers before in business arbitrations, civil cases and corporate work, and ma...ny of these instances of course included facing off with 'adversarial' parties and lawyers. My comments below and ratings are based upon my specific experience with Candice and framed from my other experiences with lawyers as well. Candice represented me and my interests in an exceedingly professional manner. Given there was an opposite side of the conference table we worked at that had a now ex-spouse and her (non-collaborative practicing, litigation-friendly) attorney, Candice first worked hard to understand my story and my values as it related to the ultimate settlement of my marriage matters. Over the entire course of our work Candice listened to my evolving story, asked insightful questions, listened closely to my answers, and presented back a cohesive approach for our group discussions. In working with the other parties Candice strove to keep the collaborative process valid and effective for us all, this despite the seemingly insistence of others who may have tended towards arguments vs. results. In addition, her willingness to work with my beliefs and values for certain parts of the final settlement of my marriage while also offering her professional experience and practical advice was greatly appreciated. In the end, I could not have been more pleased with our work together. Looking back, my goals were attained and I feel strongly that Candice's work was a material part of that success. I hold my head up high knowing I did as much as I could for everyone involved while keeping my own sanity and interests in mind as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Candice to those desiring to work with, not for, a professional in every sense of the word.

I hired Candice. She is a nice person, but I think she does this part time. She was always busy with kids and family affairs. She was not available and would go weeks or a month without getting back to me. When we tried to schedule things, it always had to be worked around her kids activities. I ...work full time too and understand schedules, but when you are paying so much for an attorney and such an important matter, they should make themselves availalbe. She constantly made me go over things that we already discussed. When my draft was finished, it's as if we never had a session. She literally just wrote my name over a different person's document. She just uses a standard document and didn't make any adjustments. I was better off getting it down on legaldoc.com. Nothing we discussed was n the document and other things were in there that were never brought up or they were wrong. In fact, it wasn't even my name or my name was sometimes spelled wrong. She is not detailed oriented. The draft could not have been worse. I eneded up getting a refund and fired her before we were finished.
