Awful performance

I retained JPG in a divorce case. She is probably the worst choice ever. If you can't explain to a judge why there is an emergency when you get get hit with a $100k tax bill and there's $30k in the accounts, you should probably reconsider your profession.

We are unable to fully comment in relation to this matter in a public forum due to attorney/client privilege. At times we are unable to continue to represent individuals due to certain conduct on their part. We have provided quality legal services to hundreds of clients over many years and stand by our high standard of representation in the Lake County community.

Unhappy Client

I hired Mrs. Jue Peterson to help me with the process of my divorce. She inicially told me that it will take a month, then she missinformed me that due to the fact the we were married and claiming taxes jointly she could not finalized the divorce in December and I was finally divorced in February. ... During the process I paid her, but she represented my exhusband. He got away with paying no child support for seven months, and got visitation rights even after I informed her that he was arrested for procession of drugs. I honestly thought that any lawyer will make sure that the needs and the best for the children are being meet. I didn’t agree or like how she handle my case, but I had no choice because I had paid her some money upfront, my ex husband has many issues with the law and to me it was urgent to be divorced and to take back my maiden name. The day of my divorce, Mrs. Peterson even said to me “he doesn’t seem to be a bad person, he has just made wrong choices.” This comment made me really upset because it confirmed me that after all she represent him.

We are disappointed to learn through a post that Ms. Rodriguez was dissatisfied with our services. A divorce case can be resolved more quickly when both parties are in agreement as to all issues. However when one party raises issues or does not follow through with all requirements in a timely manner, then a case can take a longer period of time to resolve. We strive to provide efficient and effective service for all of our clients. We cannot predict how cooperative a spouse will be. Ultimately we were able to complete the divorce process for Ms. Rodriguez. When requested to complete some additional work for this client, we did so without a charge. We regret that we were unable to discuss any concerns or dissatisfaction about our services with our client since she did not contact us. We strive to perform the best possible service for all our clients.
