Olga Nakonechna

Olga Nakonechna is the dedicated and visionary founder of Nakone Law, a firm that stands out for its commitment to providing exceptional legal services. With a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in both the legal and philanthropic fields, Olga has built a career centered on advocacy, compassion, and community service.

​Olga's academic journey began in Ukraine, where she earned a Master's in International Relations from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and a degree in Accounting and Audit from Lviv National Agrarian University. Her passion for international affairs and her analytical acumen led her to pursue further studies in the United States. She graduated with a degree in Political Science from Northeastern Illinois University and subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University Law School.

​Olga's professional experience is as diverse as her academic background. She interned at the Honorary Consulate of Austria, gaining valuable insights into international diplomatic relations. Her role as a data analyst and her extensive work as a legal assistant provided her with a strong foundation in both the technical and practical aspects of law.

​In 2011, Olga co-founded a translation services company, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to bridging communication gaps. Her legal career took a significant leap when she served as a Law Extern to the Honorable Mark Lopez in the family law division, where she honed her skills in handling complex family law cases. She also completed an internship at Haset House, a shelter in Illinois, where she provided pro-bono legal support, demonstrating her dedication to serving vulnerable populations.

Olga's commitment to community service is evident in her extensive volunteer work. Since 2013, she has been actively involved in supporting facilities for orphaned children with disabilities in Ukraine. Her compassion and leadership extended to Poland in 2022, where she assisted with the coordination of refugee flow from Ukraine, offering crucial support and guidance to those in need.

​From 2016, Olga served as the Director of Philanthropy and Education and a board member of the Women in Business Association based in Chicago. Her leadership and dedication culminated in her role as President until June 2023.

​In 2020, Olga founded Nakone Law, driven by her vision to create a legal practice that prioritizes client care, community involvement, and professional excellence. Since 2022, she has been providing pro-bono legal services at Selfreliance, a non-profit organization, further cementing her role as a tireless advocate for those in need.
