Thomas William Hunter

I hired these men Thomas hunter and his partner Orin I wish I would of never walked into that office! They took my 6 grand down then went to court and acted like they where representing the state instead of me! I feel as if they sell your case out! I don’t recommend! They had nerve to ask for more mo...ney and u said “no!” I had a retainer of 4 grand left. They then quit my case because of mr hunter being sick (which I believe was false) they tried to keep my Money till I threatened to call legal bar association and they gave me back 3 grand! Point is these people are no help I don’t even think the Orin guy graduated from law school! Hunter was a good lawyer in his day fighting but he’s sick now so that leave the firm with mister orins education and I think your better off with a public defender! Superrrrrrr regret ever meeting these people!

Hired Mr. Hunter for daughter. He said he would investigate case and help get children back. Mr. Hunter did nothing but help DCFS. He lied to us the whole time. Now wants more money after he lost the right to children. When went to court we were humiliated and he thought that he did great. Mr. Hunter... not only lost in court and made case worse. He doesn't care about anything but making sure he gets money. My daughter lost her case and ended up in hospital and he called wanting to talk to her in the hospital because he fills untitled to more money. Please do not be like me and waist money. Very sad and heartbreaking.

My experience with Mr. Hunter was a good one. He helped and is still helping me deal with DCFS case workers. I had a crazy case worker for my in home daycare who literally harassed me to the point I lost my business. Thomas Hunter stepped in and the harrassment has stopped. He always called me back, ...kept me Informed every time he talked to someone, left me emails, and was very considerate of my emotional state during the torture of DCFS. This entity has way too much power and you need a shark of an attorney to go up against this agency. I would recommend Thomas Hunter to anyone that needs to be protected from DCFS. Brenda N
